I've met quite a few Mensa members who were dumbasses too. Anyone who uses their Mensa card as proof of their being smart should be unqualified to be a Mensa member.
I don't play consoles, so my opinion may be suspect. But the only thing I see that consoles really have to beat out a PC is price. When consoles become as expensive as a PC, and have to be upgraded more often than a gaming PC, and require a subscription just to play online, then where is the advantage? Sure, a PC is slightly more expensive right now, but if someone already has a PC that's capable of games with minimal to zero hardware upgrades, then why buy one of these new consoles?
I can pull out 15 year old games from the closet and play them on my new PC (and they're almost always better than modern games). A console however always has built in obsolescence.
If those are you number one draws, then why not a PC? The reason I don't use consoles is 1) I already have a PC, and 2) I don't want to set up a second desk as a gaming center, and 3) there have been no console controllers that work for me.
Add an exception for Wikipedia, and cross your fingers that they don't abuse it by shwoing you "it's been 451 days since you last donated to us" notices.
Then the web sites should stop being so creepy. "Hey, you bought Depends Adult Undergarments last time you were here, let me show you a lot of ads for incontinence while your co-workers look over your shoulders."
Web sites can work wonderfully without the cookies. They just need to remember that they exist to provide information first and foremost and that they are not supposed to show advertisements. Webs are supposed to be stateless, so act more like an encyclopedia than the weekly advertising flyers showing up in the post.
But browsers make this difficult. Either you accept ALL cookies (even the 99% that are evil) or you accept almost none. To accept cookies from just your own site most browsers do not give you an easy way to do this. Sometimes "don't accept third party cookies" will work but sometimes it won't because the cookie is coming from something that appears to be a third party site ("bringyourownbeer.com" uses cookies from "xyz.byob.com"). And the cookies have bizarre names with even odder contents, so if you're browsing through the cookies you can't tell if they're actually useful or if they're ad trackers.
I generally accept only first party cookies, but I discard them when the browser closes. With a few exceptions. And with those sites where I did add exceptions they still sometimes fail to remember what I've read; and it's too much of a hassle to track down the problem, and far too dangerous to allow third party cookies, so I don't bother and track it all up to yet another broken web site.
Then why do we change stamps? That costs money too, and yet the USPS is the only self sufficient department of government. It only causes confusion because in America we take so long to change the currency, meanwhile other countries get redesigns on a regular basis (ie, if the monarch dies). If we're already going about changing the currency for anti counterfeiting measures then updating the picture is no big deal; and changing the picture actually helps as it reminds the viewer that this is the new bill and to be sure to check for the security features. And we update things all the times, even if it doesn't look like it; we remake the engraving plates quite often because they wear out and this done with highly skilled labor (we don't 3d print them or use a Xerox), putting on a new picture adds very little to the total time to do this.
If there's no reason to change the picture then that would imply there was never a reason at all to put a picture on in the first place (especially pictures of controversial figures). Why bother changing the flag if we get a new state for that matter, or even having anything complex on it instead of being a solid color (I think fuchsia would be good, it would send a message that we're so crazy that you shouldn't mess with us)?
The segregationists left the democratic party and turn the republican party into the party that welcomed racists with open arms. Because we only have two parties that make a difference, both parties will accept with open arms anyone who can get them votes. If you think republicans don't steal as much as they can then you're definitely an unreformed partisan.
We used to change currency a lot. Other countries still do this. But for some strange reason we stagnated and kept the same old boring bills for decades longer than we should have. Kept them the same for so long that some people seem to think there's something wrong with changing them, possibly unpatriotic, maybe assuming the current designs were actually legislated sometime in the past. The idea of "dead presidents" meaning money is a modern idea and it only exists because people have forgotten when currency last had a substantial change.
So it's an empty trivial gesture to put pictures of presidents on in the first place. So it matters not who we put on or take off. If it's a waste of money to change a design (which we've done to currency many many times) then it's a waste of money to change postage stamps as well.
We've had these people on currencies in the past, over a hundred years ago. I also think in the past that currencies changed more often but for a relatively long period the US seemed to be stuck with an attitude that money shouldn't be changed (waste of money, if it was good enough for granddad then it's good enough for me, don't change what ain't broke, etc). So we were stuck with the same boring people for a long time.
Now that it's changing I like it. Keep it changing regularly and people will stop freaking out when it happens and stop accusing it of being some sort of liberal plot to overthrow the government.
It's because we did a complete reversal several years ago, all the racist segregationists left the democratic party and became republicans en-masse. The parties today bear no resemblance to the parties of the same names 100 years ago. Some of the very same intrusive democrats who wanted to keep blacks out of their schools changed affiliation and became intrusive republicans trying to stop gay marriage.
Not impressive at all though. First it's an arduino, dumbed down for EE people who don't like to program and CS people who don't like to solder. It's essentially just an introductory system for learning with really good marketing. Many professional systems designed for people make professional products are smaller. Now make it run from a coin cell while being smaller than the coin cell itself while having a radio talking IPv6.
You can fix this stuff. True, the latest El Capitan crap tries to prevent root from doing some things but you can override it with the secret mantra easily found in web searches. Anyone using "git" on OSX is probably already using Mac Ports or something similar. The default tools that come with OSX or Xcode really only exist as an iOS development support system and can be ignored.
They really want to sell their own exclusive service though, with their own streaming device. Basically all the streaming devices are nearly identical anyway, Apple and Amazon only compete based upon offering exclusive support for their own services (Apple was first, but it sort of languished early on letting others catch up and pass it by). Chromecast competes by being dirt cheap and letting your phone do most of the work. Roku competes as the do everything in one place device.
I'm hoping in the future that the market clears up and becomes more logical (ha, pipe dreams) instead of everyone trying to be the same thing and have the same content.

Then you are too young to remember the real internet.
The former artist formerly known as Prince but then later known as Prince.

Because Valve is more evil than GoG?

Same idea gets used elsewhere. As in, just because the elephant is already dead doesn't mean you can sell the ivory.
I would complain to my boss that it's too hard to sleep at the new desk.
I had my hip replaced with a 3D printed plastic part, you insensitive clod!

By "other presidents" I meant other than the couple already mentioned so far.
And by currency I meant paper currency and not coins.
After passing through so many kidneys it must be pure.

In the distant past we've had other non presidens on currency. Such as Martha Washington on a silver certificate.
