    Two kinds of /. articles keep my killfile topped up: those about global warming (deniers), and those with "men's rights advocates" who engage in victim-blaming. Neither sort of person's comments are worth reading.

    Related: it's dumb that we're limited to 200 friend/foe relationships. I ran into that limit earlier this week and had to spend an hour trimming out users who don't post any longer.

    Pretty neat if you can afford it plus the cost of modding your console for RGB-out, which by itself is at least $100 for just the parts, and there are a limited number of those - the ones I've seen were stripped from old PlayChoice 10 cabinets. For us common trolls, a good emulator + a warezed ROM collection does the job.

    I'll even break it down for you. You got into this crazy spot because:

    1) you don't want to believe that AGW is true
    2) you find any goddamn reason, no matter how tenuously connected to reality or frequently debunked, to deny its existence because the consequences (if true) are too terrible
    3) besides, the people who are convinced that AGW is true and we shouldn't pollute so much are those people.
    4) Those people just want to tell you how to live anyway, so fuck them.
    5) so therefore, you've convinced yourself that AGW is a bunch of baloney.
