Oh, please. The Dems, as usual, are bending over backwards to negotiate.
The now-standard Republican "negotiating" tactic is to throw a tantrum until they get everything they want. Compromise is when the Dems agree with the Republicans.
It seems like the more extreme Republicans that are running things in the House don't have a political philosophy so much as they have a religion. It's hard to convince a zealot of anything.
Pay attention, kids: we're experiencing history! This is another stage in the long decline of the United States.
Not to Godwin my post, but I'm hoping we're not heading into a Weimar Republic here. Congress is getting so dysfunctional that we're in danger of enough people deciding that we need One Leader simply to get things done.
In 11.04. ISTR reading that GNOME 2.x goes away in 11.10, so yes, you're probably better off sticking with LTS until Canonical un-fucks their desktop environment.
I believe in the colder parts of the States they switch to #1 diesel in the winter months, because it will still flow at lower temperatures. The cost jump you're seeing could well be from that.
In our case, yes, someone/is/ forcing us to support Macs. The university president, for one, and also the head of IT.
That's a laugh that you can expect a Mac weenie to know what they're doing. Some of mine do, but the majority don't, a proportion similar to my Windows lusers.
This is better: "Tales of Cisco-induced semi-psychotic fits are common. Often, people on a Cisco binge end up curled into a fetal ball, shuddering and muttering paranoid rants."
I tend to get my users keyboards & mice with proprietary radios because the Bluetooth equivalents are so goddamn expensive. Many tens of dollars more expensive, and I don't know why.
If they're important enough to have classified information, the computers will not even be using the same network switches. VLAN hopping will therefore be a non-starter.

If you're talking about KDE 3.x, maybe. KDE 4 is an abomination.
Nonetheless, I think if we had every bit of evidence possible, we'd find that News Corp's hands are dirtier than most.
Seems an awful lot like the "long-form birth certificate" conspiracy theory, doesn't it?

That's a funny way to spell "donations to congressional re-election campaigns".
They are loyal vassal^Wallies. They have no need to extradite our citizens.

I don't need to ask if you're a Fox Propaganda viewer, then.
Come now. How many types of malware spread by USB stick, again?
not buying a gas guzzler to haul your kids to school, even if you've piously put a made-in-China yellow ribbon magnet on it.
Not around here. Most of the time in winter, it's just cold. No snow on the ground.
Teach those idiots in Florida how to use a butterfly ballot.

Why do you assume that only one of those three data centers would host military stuff?
What makes you think that just because computers are physically adjacent that they can talk to one another?
