Sounds interesting: "The numbers of T regulatory cells dropped over time, and the immune systems returned to normal in about two weeks. By that time 80% of the mice had accepted the grafts of insulin producing cells as their own."
One thing this does show, though, is that this could easily cure type one diabetics. So even if it only works in this scenario they have discovered something. I am hoping it gets somewhere since I would love to no longer have insulin dependent diabetes.
I would kill for a side scrolling shoot em up with today's graphics, or some more fun LBPesque platformers!
Maybe I bought the wrong console?
I also am very fond of the shmup / side scroll type game. After looking around at where the games for this genre are I would say the best bet is pc. Second to that would be imports, for the ps2 usually. I know the people behind ikaruga are working on a wii title, but there isn't much else as far as information. Check out warning forever (free pc shmup) if you haven't yet.
All that the $400 higher price for the unlocked iPhone is proving
Except this phone is not unlocked; it's just without a contract! You can buy the phone, but you can't use it with any provider other than AT&T (without illegally unlocking the phone yourself) and, if you do activate the phone with AT&T, you still have to get an iPhone contract (i. e. you can't buy the no-contract iPhone and activate it on a regular, voice-only plan).
And German board games are getting more and more into the mainstream because of downloadable versions. Settler's of catan may be one of the lighter german board games but the way it has been doing on xbox live just shows how well good game mechanics and balance can sell.
What were we talking about? Oh right. It's called "pop". "Soda" is okay too I guess.
Well, I know this is completely off topic but here is the actual breakdown:
pop soda coke map
So pop there really isn't one term used in this case. Somewhat curious what the "other" sections represent.
You're forced to create an account and then send pdfs and text files to an email associated with the account for a fee ($0.20 per file or something like that). It's difficult, and Amazon has everything locked down.
This is the very reason I got a sony reader over the kindle. Still very strange that the sony product is much more open to formats, and gives you much more control over what you put on it. The wireless connectivity is the only thing I miss, but the ease of reading anything along with plenty of rss feed converters for it make it plenty better.
However, the one sticky point is that the screen is very susceptible to direct pressure on the screen.
I had the same problem with my sony reader (prs 505). If you look on amazon there are several good reader cases. I use the book armor - ecaddycase.com. It can take a lot of beatings and I haven't had any trouble yet.
This sounds much more like it was the windows live part that caused the problem, not valve. Games that I have bought off of steam that were windows live had some issues if I didn't sign into windows live too. Non-windows live games have never given me trouble on steam and I haven't ever heard of this case before. With that windows live game I got on Steam I also couldn't start downloading the install until the release date, which also has never happened except for these silly windows live games.
So don't blame steam, they were at the mercy of the windows live system as far as I can tell. I am most likely never going to get another windows live game because of it.
(Note that in many/most areas, the government requires that cable companies have available a low-cost "basic cable" package - although they rarely advertise it, it must be available for purchase if you ask).
I do know that AT&T does have an option like this if you fish around. I remember it being somewhere around $20-30 but the very low end of speeds. I personally use Speakeasy which ends up being $60 a month but with customer support and help that act like you are intelligent.
I agree that private schools often can also be very badly run. I attended private school from k-7th grade. It was fairly decent until 7th grade in which I felt like everyone else was a year behind me. I then switched to public in 8th and it returned to a much better experience. It seems regardless of the type (public/private) it all depends on the particular teachers and somewhat how a school is run. So summarily assuming public schools are worse can always be shown to not always be true.

Unlocking a cell phone is not considered illegal in the US. There have been recent challenges to that, but it currently is considered legal. Here is the first link I found from searching for it online: http://www.darknet.org.uk/2007/04/legal-to-unlock-cell-phones-since-november-2006/
Only kids with lisps
Ah so the Etherbunny only anesthetizes kids that use lots of parenthesis in programming. Makes perfect sense.
