If they use a crackable device, they cant scream blody murder when somebody manages to crack it. There is a reason why we have PKI and PGP. Use the crypto Luke!
(or else the planes wouldn't have hit the Towers in the first place).
Well thats of cource if they didnt LET them do it. Think about it, remember JFK?
Wich in that case there is something even bigger to worry about.
Its just a theory, but sometimes when all your theorys are equaly posible the most simple is the solution.
With gpasman you just have to remember 1 password (a really big one), that encrypts the others. This is a OpenSource app and written in gtk, what else could you ask?:). Get it here
Wanna why? Well, just try to install stable on some less than 1 year old hw or unstable (woody) instead.
I did it on a P4, a P3 a P2 all kind of hardware, you can even make your own Boot disks to install it.
Use their mailing list to ask for help, because the installation is all fscked up. The next thing you want to do after reading the answers you get are getting is ordering your copy of SuSe
One thing is to have a BAD installer and other is not TO READ THE DOCS, thats a capital offence hence the answer you get.
The bottom line is, you want an easy installer or you want to have control on what you install?
Linus is right, kernel debugers are not a good thing. You learn to fix the simptons no the dissease. If you want to code for the kernel you better learn it the hard way. ie. lots of hours rebooting and thinking what went wrong.
But its a good thing that a kernel debuger exists, it will help you understand how it works inside. But WONT help you FIX things.
Based on debian ofcoz, and has 2.4 kernel, LIDS with reiserfs. And dont forget about TripWire, now that its opensource.
Enlightenment and Ximian. Sylpheed as a mail client and Xchat.
Well, i had the same problem, so i was thinking what about the func crypt() it does give u the same string if the same SALT and TEST is given, so i made this really cool proggy:
The GateKeeper Salt (0-99): 9 Test (0-8): mipass
the password is: C996nht8lq
So, the thing here, is that u just REMEMBER ONE number for all the PASSWORD, and u dont have to remember the pass for foo like "C996nht8lq" BUT, like "mipass" see my point? later
Bruj0. any other ideas plz send to bruj0@phreaker.net

First link in google when searching for "FUD".Basicly "FUD stands for Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt".
(news reports have frequently mentioned that Bin-Laden's organization used both e-mail and encrypted files to communicate).
I hope this is not a comment in favor of regulation of Cripto but it sure sounds like one.
Anyways my opinion on this "report" is that is totally FUD.
Get a 4U rack and buy the part one by one, thats how i build all my computers and they are 100% rock solid. No need to buy a NetAplaince :)
Am i the only one that finds strange that the topic si GOOGLE? :)
Meaby the author found the story on google.com?
