It would be a great add-on card, but I assume (I have no idea of engineering stuff) it would be very difficult to build one, at least at the level of usage we are talking about.
Direct access to ram, hdd etc. a parallel cpu with different architecture, but of same importance. I assume it could be used in a lot of industry fields.
Let me rephrase my question
Take for example you have a motherboard with 2 cpu-s one arm and the other would x86. Would it be possible to run applications compiled for different cpu architectures at the same time (with this change to the kernel) ?
Sorry for my very stupid question
Does this mean, that in theory we would be able to have two different architecture CPU-s, ARM and x86 and be able to use both of them at the same time within the kernel?
Just what I did.
Primary and high school I always was the target. But always had a card under my sleeve, I had friends who were bullies, strange ain't it. Homework was the thing that at first saved my ass from kicking, later the bullies who got help from me (homework) were the ones protecting me. I was the nerd yet I had more friends that were bullies than nerds.
If I had the amount (my pc is an old Intel Pentium 4 no hyper threading with lousy 512 mb ram) of money of the price of a Macbook, I'd build my own machine, with the equivalent or less power of an Alienware I get a gaming rig, email machine, media center, etc., etc., while with Macbook I get just an email machine. Don't missunderstand me, but money is the issue, if you have the money, you buy a macbook and probably at home you have several other pc's, if you don't have the money, you build your own rig (hoping it won't explode on first start).
Depends.
To me that I've got used to Ubuntu Server, it'd come pretty hard to go to another server OS be it Windows Server or other Linux Server OS. I've built a few Asterisk boxes with Ubuntu Server 7.04 and got friendly with the system, and it's my personal opinion but I think it's very easy to work with. Till now the Asterisk Server that my company has, has never crashed. I'm very satisfied with Ubuntu Server, I'm not changing to another one, not without giving me great headache that I had with a Windows Server (had problems with the domain).
If there weren't such people that have no idea of making more secure their wireless networks, do you think I'd have a job now? No. And if there weren't such people that use your bandwidth without asking you, there wouldn't be a need for mac filtering or any other security measure. And again there wouldn't be a need for me.
Certified or NOT?????!!!!!!

Well I can't tell it anymore, having finished CCNA and SCJP 5, hoped to get a job more easily. But not. Before getting certified I'd hear "How do I know you now anything if you're not certified", after certifications "those are just crap, just piece of paper", well that was a surprise, wasn't it??? Now I'm asking my self is it worth to spend more time and money on the certifications, or continue giving the money to Sun, Cisco, Microsoft, blla blla????

I'm not aware of a such motherboard, as you said it would be cool if such a thing existed. I was just wondering.
Cheers
