    they are awkward but pretty cool. It's a virtual keyboard projected onto a flat surface which could be sterile. There's zero tactile feedback but you can use it for simple stuff.

    I always figured those were stings.

    Nobody would really spam all of alt.binaries with kp that has a url on it if it wasn't a trap.

    I mean, come on. Either the feds are totally inept or they are the source of most of the kp spam that gets posted to OT binaries groups.

    He seems to be a visionary for sure. If his vision will cause KDE to replace Gnome as the default Linux desktop or kill it totally remains to be seen. I'm putting 50/50 odds on it going either way.

    You're seriously comparing the over-prescription of FDA approved medications with raping a three year old? Sure the FDA is crappy and corrupt, but even with their standards you can still be pretty sure that commercially available medications won't cause any harm 99% of the time. Raping toddlers hurts somebody 100% of the time.

    They took out all the non-free stuff in the kernal that Debian leaves in. They manually go through every file in every package and check the licenses.

    Yes, they remove all sourceless firmware and microcode. They actually removed the entire kernel modules package that comes with ubuntu until they have time to audit every source file. At this point it has pretty much zero sound or wireless support.

    last I checked OpenBSD had stuff like realplayer and windows codecs in its ports tree. No mainstream linux distro would offer that.

    It seems like OpenBSD likes to brag about how it's all free and every line of code is audited, but they don't mention that that only applies to the base system which is pretty much useless by itself.

    They take out the binary blobs that debian leaves in. Everything is free in debian but the kernel.
