    I'm currently doing my internship at the IT dept. of a joint-municipal group responsible for about 15k windows computers(mostly for schools, vocational schools and a uni of applied sciences) and today the department heads made the decision to uninstall java from all machines except those in lab networks disconnected from outside world.

    Imagine telling a crowd of women that they aren't all irrational and overly emotional because some subset of them joined the debate club. It's still insulting, because of the presumption.

    Indeed, I agree with you that all women are irrational and overly emotional regardless that some of them have joined the debate club.

    The benefit of democracy isn't representation. The benefit is the bloodless revolution and changing of the guard that is possible every X years.

    Too bad that the US is locked in perpetual cycle of 'meet the new boss same as the old boss' because of its 2 party system.

    For a very small amount of money pretty much anyone who wants can go buy a gun on the street. For slightly more money they can purchase a totally legal gun through the classifieds or a gun show.

    Except in places where they currently have gun control.

    Because if they meddled with end-user functionality they'd be swamped with angry customers demanding service and help. They take the cheap route that doesnt require additional effort on their part and lessens the incoming workload.
