    It's done because it becomes an additional revenue stream for the banks. If you use someone else's ATM, your bank will charge you a fee on top of the ATM fee the machine charges for the transaction.

    But to be fair, modern society operates on the principle there are human rights. So rejecting the premise means that your mindset is just advanced and you just need to wait for the downfall of modern society for others to catch up to you.

    Rights are a philosophical concept. You can no more prove that inalienable rights exist than you can prove any other philosophical assertion.

    I suppose to actually take away someone's right to life you'd have to do more than kill them, you'd have to make it so they never lived. Then they would never have had a right to life to be violated.

    I usually just look for the old using Color or Colour in their variable declaration. But that wouldn't be as funny in the current discussion, because then you wouldn't be mixing a discussion about use of the English language with use of a programming language.

    Sleeper agents for the British? I hear they're working on their accents so they can invade, rob and pillage only to disappear into the pasty white sea of middle america.

    I see...the whole law is Arizona getting a jump on the British invasion, very clever. I thought they were just insanely stupid for building their cities in the desert, but I guess it's because they know the British will be forced to wear pith helmets. That way they can be identified and removed from the country under the new law. Brilliant!
