Hey I've done that, granted it was for a light on the interior of my car and I didn't want to destroy anything as the little friction clips used provided a lot more friction than I thought they would have. So given that I wanted to see if there was some dumb little thing I was missing, like slip a slotted screw drive in to press a tab in or something, so that I would only be putting in a $2 bulb instead of putting a whole new light enclosure that would cost $150.

  9. I personally like the ballots in MN. they are a scantron style sheet that you fill out with a black permanent marker. They can be read by a simple scantron machine and provide that nice human readable form that can be easily rechecked by hand. Here is a sample one for the upcoming primary next week if anyone is curious. The last time there was an election I was curious what would happen if someone spoiled their ballot so after I filled in a few spots I went up to an election judge and said that I had spoiled my ballot and they voided it and put in an envelope for spoiled ballots and gave me a new one.

Yes it was a giant cliche with a plot shallower than my kids inflatable pool but it did deliver on the over the top action movie brain melt. These movies are not on par with films like The Last Emperor, The Usual Suspects, The Godfather, GATTACA, Dr. Strangelove, etc. but then I go into films like those with completely different expectations.

Fortunately or unfortunately my blood type is O- so I am universal donor and my blood is always needed but supplies are always limited so if I need blood I might be screwed. As an added bonus I need to give blood as hemochromatosis runs very strong in my family and I have high but not problematic iron levels. If I were to develop hemochromatosis the treatment is getting some of your blood drained but in that case the blood isn't good for donating as the iron levels are too high so instead I view donating blood as a preventative measure with added benefits.
