    Nobody on the left wants to force straights that want to marry to marry homosexuals, but everyone on the right wants to force homosexuals that want to marry to marry straights. It is only the "conservatives" who are trying to force people to follow rules, liberals believe in allowing people to follow their own hearts.

    I've not seen anyone forcing straight folk to enter into marriages homosexual folk. Can you say the same for your "side"? It's either you marry the opposite sex or you don't marry at all.

    Not all killing is murder. Please follow along. The state decides what is just killing and what is murder.

    The same goes for stealing. The states decides which of your earning is theirs, and which of your earnings is yours.

    It is going on 7 years old now, but I keep hanging on to it because I have yet to see anyone come up with a hand held computer that makes phone calls that has all of its features. Number one in my book would be the requirement that it the ability to run whatever software the devices owner to choose to run. Number two would be the ability of the devices owner to create whatever software that he choices to run on the device. Oh, and above all, a good hardware keyboard.

    You just made a great argument for zero tolerance.

    I'm all for the legalization of pot nation wide, but I'm also against impaired drivers being allowed to menace the roads. Smoke to your hearts content, but don't smoke and drive.

    Also, if the government gives me $30,000/year but I have to work at some boring, back breaking job 40 hours/week to make $32,000/year then why the hell shouldn't I just sit home and play video games?

    Because then you will be making $62,000 a year.

    See now for me a watch is indispensable, and I've always dreamed of owning one that can perform other functions other than the most important one of telling the time. Of course telling the time is the most important reason to wear a watch. I also find it much more comfortable to wear a watch than to carry a phone in my pocket. Luddite here I suppose.
