    ... is that several adults (presumably) sat around a boardroom table a multiple number of times to discuss this... and still thought it was a good idea for a product!

    I dunno... I'm as geeky as the next man but I still can't think of a single reason for this...

    Notice to potential adopters: before you look into GNUCash you should know that it is Linux only.

    Also note that this is a feature, not a bug!

    You obviously haven't even read the very links you posted! Check out the Farscape link and you will find (sadly) that the Sci-Fi channel is just running the episodes already filmed to finish season 4! According to the FAQ, the show has been cancelled and will not be returning for another season. (They will however, undoubtedly be endlessly re-running the shows already made.)

    If you can find it, there was a collection of short stories entitled:
    The Science Fiction Hall of Fame, Vol. 1
    I recommend it highly.
