Its not that EA doesn't innovate. Its that they make their games into arcade games instead of sports sims.
The EA NBA games have been nigh upon unplayable, *even on simulation mode*. The recent ESPN (and whatever they were before that) NBA games have been a far better simulation of actual basketball.
I swear...EA NBA is like playing NBA Jam...ugh.
The big difference is that 15,000 foreign *brown* people died. That's the political equivalent of two or three Americans. Two or three *poor* Americans.
I'm surprised the head of UC didn't make a comment like "Crunch all you want, they'll make more."
The general consensus was against the striking UPS workers quite a while ago too.
I just never hear people complaining about the owners, who are *also* whining not making enough money.
(Hint: no one holds a gun to their heads to make them sign player contracts)
Currently[*] all fuels give back less energy than was put into them.
There are times and places where size and mass may be at a premium, e.g., launching something into space.
[*] and by "currently", I mean "eternally"
Just don't think it will magically do all the hard things like tracking updated/deleted/new objects, cascading auto generated keys from parent to child (or child to parent if your tables swing that way) or sequence delete/update/inserts to avoid referential integrity problems.
Funny...hibernate did *all* of those things for me...

No, they're not that exciting. But until recently, they've been a ginormous pain in the ass.
I thought Wired was just a write-off vehicle for some company that had millions of gallons of fluorescent and metallic ink on their hands.
You mean there's words in that magazine?
Different technologies. Apple needed to be able to do high-speed isochronous data transfer.
Try taking input from a video camera over USB (especially USB 1.0, which was all there was when FireWire came out).
The graphic design department at my company (7000 artists) is already planning on dumping Photoshop for GIMP 2. We're going to sell our licenses to local schools and use the proceeds to buy coke and heroin.
This is the best news I've heard all year!

They're planning on taking on Nintendo?
Not to mention having to deal with the monsters that have respawned while you were dead.
Probably AOL/SSI's online game, Neverwinter Nights. At the time, they still had per-hour pricing.
There are?!

I'm not sure, but its probably a beady kind of sound.
I continually fail to understand the anti-labor sentiment in this country, especially as real wages continue to drop.

Except for those things known as Negligent Homicide and its kin...

I liked it better when union-busting took the form of large men with baseball bats. At least that was more obvious.
That's *bleeding heart liberal* to you, thank you.
Wholly unregulated capitalism combined with high unemployment rates! The best way evar to disenfranchise the worker.

It works the same even if you call it "IEEE 1394", or whatever dumb name Sony has for it.
I was hoping you were talking about the "Surrender Dorothy" graffiti that used to be on a bridge over 495 as it looked out on the "Emerald City".
...weapons fire you! Which is very true, given the number of government officials who lost their job via (9mm) brain hemmorhage.
You mixed with lye. It's a base.
