    SIP and NAT just don't get along, SIP is made for an ideal IPv6 world.

    Technologically there's no trouble at all making a Skype replacement but try getting people, and worse yet telcos, to accept no-cost voice, text and video communications. See also: The existence of WhatsApp right in the face of XMPP.

    I think that bad drivers secretly know they suck, TV ads for cars often mention nothing but the car's safety features, obviously this is a major demographic.

    This isn't true...yet.

    Newer Corollas yes, but the early '80s-late '90s Corollas handle quite nicely. Toyota just gave up any aspirations of fun or performance between the early 2000s and the release of the FR-S.

    It's a generalization, but I find Toyotas (mainly Corollas ... surprisingly the Echos tend to be driven faster) are driven more slowly and more cautiously by a fair margin than any other car

    If I lived near you I'd skew the hell out of your averages :-P

    I know you don't live near Skal Tura either...

    Why does it require strong AI? Between aircraft autopilot systems and robotized warehouses all the technology needed is currently in use.

    Also, who needs liability insurance anymore? The autonomous vehicle manufacturer would carry insurance for errors in their system, and only other drivers who still drive their cars would need insurance.

    Plus if the company has "dead peasant insurance" too few deaths might not be a good thing for them...

    Also BSc means lowish pay and having no degree means you're unemployable human garbage suitable only for work where robots are still too costly. Master's degree is the sweet spot right now.

    Those are some very optimistic numbers and odd math. I dunno about you but I don't drive an 8000lb car. Not even a 4000lb car but a big modern car with lots of passengers could be that much.

    I don't have a problem with physiological differences existing, I have a problem with discriminating or making sweeping statements based on them because they aren't true for every individual.
