The calls are standard SIP w/ H.264 codecs (open?) but it uses a proprietary Apple-hosted HTTP-based lookup service to associate your phone number or email with your SIP URI. AFAIK they've released no details - that bit of info was gained from some reverse-engineering done on the Maemo forums.
The question is whether it will create more jobs for engineers/programmers/roboticists than the manual labor jobs it wiped out - that is, assuming any manual laborer can transition to one of those skilled jobs.
Yeah I wouldn't want you to go through the trouble of explaining how a greater number of people competing over a finite set of resources wouldn't alter the person/available resource ratio and thus create a supply and demand problem. We've had food shortages with less than 10B people on the planet but let's shoot for 50B. My brain doesn't have the math capacity for it but it'll work out I'm sure.
Searched through there (after expanding all posts), couldn't find any. Any posts in particular you want me to take a second look at?
Keep in mind that geeks who hate Apple stuff for legitimate reasons and may have mod points aren't shills. Shills are newish users who mostly post comments for or against a certain company or product.
So instead we just sacrifice wave after wave of innocent bystanders in the middle East to the utterly predictable angry mobs of extremists instead of putting any blame on the anti-Islamic shit-disturbers? There has to be a better option...I realize and agree that they should have the right to say horrible, hateful things about Islam and depict Mohammed in the worst way imaginable, but people *will* die every time it happens. If we just keep it up it won't be the crazies that are all dead in the end, it will be everyone else.
I used to work in a former US embassy building and I'm sure the upper floor could withstand plenty of RPG attacks. It was built in quite a peaceful country so the level of armor on this place is as hilarious as it would have been if the building were in Canada.
It's basically a massive concrete bunker on pillars with a downstairs area between the pillars. Upstairs has 3ft thick concrete walls and no windows. Another company was up there so I didn't see inside. The rooftop is big and flat with no antennas, walls or flagpoles, ideal for a helicopter to land on.
Downstairs has bulletproof floor-to-roof glass all around and heavy caging behind the glass. Nothing compared to upstairs but it felt like we were ready for a zombie apocalypse in there. Only one room is fully closed in downstairs (so you had a wall with full outdoor visibility from any other point), it was heavily armored with a big steel door (we used it as a server room). I don't know what the point of this room was, you'd think they would have put it in the much better-protected top floor.
And it's within walking distance of the core of the capital city.
I disagree. I consider them mentally ill. It is known that certain actions will cause them to become violent, this pastor was warned before his Quaran burnings by the FBI about this and did it anyways (resulting in many deaths), the blood is on his hands.

Yep almost a perfect copy of the F35 externally, except no VTOL/STOL stuff and two exhaust outlets instead of one.
That's assuming port 53 traffic is free rather than DNS traffic being free - not the same thing.
You know that's almost as good as a CEH...
Compared to working in a mine in Africa yes, but not by first-world standards.
I call that "the honest definition of capitalism."
LOL, I wasn't interested in seeing this movie...until now. BRB!
Here you go, share it with your friends!

The "not depriving" argument IS saying that the comparison is simply wrong, not that pirating is 100% morally right.
You'd never guess.
Only one way to find out!

I haven't seen any clear Google shilling, If you point some out I'll add it.

Only if the US is mentally ill as well.
It's like an orgasm without the mess ^_^
I would have agreed with you before the uproar over this obscure movie released online.

I hope this guy knows he has more blood on his hands now
FTFY. A lot of people died on his much-publicized Quaran burnings.
Just like Christians, can't they keep their Breiviks and McVeighs in line? Must be mostly a bunch of crazies right?
1 Heineken is about 0.7 regular beers from the bottles they sell around here...
