Not noted, however, is that the average time to transfer one of these viruses from machine to man is 86 straight hours of gameplay, at which point the recipient will run to the nearest bathroom and die without respawning.
There once was some shitty ISP That knocked off users after a minute or three One day they took a poll And lo and behold Found popup removal brought users glee!
That was so terrible, I'm ashamed to hit the submit button.
I've been using my mac.com email address for awhile now. None of the other iTools features are at all useful to me. I'm not going to pay $100/year for an email address, no matter what the domain is. Now, when I tell my friends who email me at my mac.com address that they'll need to mail me at yahoo or something instead, how is that going to make Apple look? How is this going to help the effort to switch Windows users when I tell my Windows using friends, "Oh, well, you need to email me somewhere different now, I gave up that mac.com email address because Apple wanted me to start paying for it."
All this is going to do is create a word of mouth backlash that bites Apple in the ass. The least they could do is keep the email free but charge for the full.Mac services.
That's what they have PostgreSQL for. The only reason I can see for using MySQL over PostgreSQL is speed when durability and serious features aren't an issue. If you need a more robust feature set, stick to PostgreSQL.
Be careful! After the scene I keep seeing previews for, with Kirsten Dunst in a completely soaked and tight shirt, your kid might suddenly try reverting to breast feeding at age 4.
Anyone else find it amusing that in metamoderation all the "Informative" moderations on this post are probably going to be marked "Unfair," considering it's just one line saying yes and a subject concerning first post?
Almost all interesting characters in literature throughout the ages have been "damaged." Most of them have some sort of tragic flaw that makes them interesting. Examples include the pride of Achilles, Hamlet's procrastination and arguably bipolar tendencies, Ahab's obsession in Moby Dick, and if you want to get extremely modern, maybe even the multiple personality disorder of the narrator in Fight Club. It's not just Hollywood that loves problematic characters, it's pretty much all drama throughout the ages.
In Philadelphia, PA, in West Philly at 43rd and Locust, there's the Fairfax. The best part of it is that they have the building networked for high speed connectivity, for $30/month (when I was there, around a year and a half ago). They didn't have any technical info on what kind of connection it was for me or anything, but I would get speeds of around 120k/sec fairly regularly. Other than the internet connection, though, the apartment was a real piece of crap... my sink and toilet would regularly create small black fountains in them, someone tried crawling in my window one night to rob the place while I was sleeping there, and the maintenance man was kind of a jerk.
If you're willing to put up with the bullshit though, you can get an efficiency place there pretty cheaply ($550/month) and have a pretty good connection without having to live in dorms. When I was there, cable modem and DSL weren't available widely yet, so it was about the best access you could expect and for a pretty affordable price.
Oh, and, uh, don't use me for a reference, I ended up getting kicked out because of a rather schizophrenic pets policy that I don't really want to get into explaining. Just don't move there if you have pets, regardless of them saying it's okay. It isn't. They'll tell you in person it's okay, and let you in, but if they ever decide they don't like you, since it's technically against the lease they'll use it against you.
Do you think that smaller parties, other than Democrats and Republicans, will gain an advantage due to the internet, leveling the playing field a bit? It seems that the internet would allow parties taking advantage of the technology a way to spread their ideals like never before, such as the Libertarians, who the internet generally likes.
I believe there are Linux Flash players now. I'm pretty sure it's Intel only though, my friend's Alpha still can't do Flash stuff. Also, I heard somebody mention a Java applet that runs Flash... I don't have any details on that though.
I know that Tom Fulp, the guy who runs Newgrounds was going to meet with the South Park guys due to some involvement with the Troma people. Newgrounds is basically a lot of Flash stuff... I wonder if he is involved at all.
As far as I can tell, geeks are nerds with some social skills added (whether they choose to use them is something altogether different) and are more fun to hang out with; most of the characters in the 80's movie "Real Genius" were geeks. The evil straight laced guy they were against was a nerd.

That's what they have PostgreSQL for. MySQL doesn't even stand up to the ACID test unless you replace the default table handler.
The only reason I can see for using MySQL over PostgreSQL is purely for speed. If you need a more robust feature set, stick to PostgreSQL.

According to this, Google made a profit.
