    This issue is still that you'd need to know the polarity of the particles before transmition in order to be able to communicate and as observing them sets the polarity this basically removes any possibility of being able to communicate. There is some interesting work going on about being able to observe the particles without setting their state however this is still largely theoretical.

    In Germany they are already doing this. To encourage take up of solar power the govt is making the power companies pay more for power from renewable power (about 15% more) than from fossil fuel/nuclear based. This has caused a massive take up in the home solar & wind market in Germany leading to the fact that they now get 15% of their energy needs from renewable's.

    Hardware can still go down regardless of how often its tested. The issue here is it took 10 minutes to rectify the fault.

    If you are a UK citizen you have the right to request a copy of any CCTV coverage made of you however the CCTV provider may charge a nominal fee. I believe that this in enshrined in both the Data Protection Act & Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act.

    As I have family (That I stay with fairly regularly) who also cannot get broadband I have just invested in a 3G Broadband Modem from Skodafone. It's actually quite impressive as long as you have a reasonable signal (Downloaded a gig in 3 hours). However if it has to step down to GPRS then you are f****d. HTH Mod me down if you want I'm not going to hang around to find out.

    Not to mention the amount of nitrogen (15 times as potent a greenhouse gas than CO2) the gets emitted just from growing the stuff in the first place.

    Most of the people I know who got a machine with Vista bundled on it rolled it back to XP without even asking my advice. If 39% of machines sold in 2007 had Vista my guess is that less than 10% still do.
