The fact that you can setup a windows based machine without a login and still have full admin rights is proof enough of the serious and deep rooted conceptual problems with it's design. Windows is built, from the ground up, to sell windows. Nothing more.

The quickest way to protect the public from malicious intent would be to get them to all stop using Microsoft products immediately. Everyone's sitting in a sinking lifeboat and you're quietly warning the captain about each leak you find so he can stick some chewing gum on it. What you really should be doing is screaming "Look at all the Fing holes in this boat!! Everyone get in that other, non-sinking boat called Linux over there!!!"

They aren't going to make squat on taxes on pot, because once it's legal its going to be growing in every backyard, ditch, park and camp ground in the state.

Both are far more unbiased than the new york times and if I were to go to a website online to get news, it would be either of their sites before the NYT... and that's before I even considered the paywall. The fact of the matter is, the majority of us never visited the NYT website prior to the paywall, and even fewer will after ward. I recently flew to from Chicago to Ethiopia (switched planes in Istanbul.) I had never been outside the united states prior to this trip so I was rather surprised that I got free food, free drinks, no charge for my bags. The flight attendants spoke very little English but in comparison to my experience on US airlines they were practically falling all over themselves to help me. The food was exceptional, as good as any decent restaurant. The attendants were bringing me a drink at least every hour or 2 and if I wanted one sooner I just raised my hand and they handed be the jack and coke I had been ordering for the past 15hrs (long plane ride.) All this, and the tickets weren't that expensive (considering the legth of the trip.) I know the airlines like to blame the price of gas and the failing economy for their troubles, but I just like everyone to consider this: The price of gasoline in Ethiopia the day I landed was $8 a liter. 70 percent of the population of the city I landed in was homeless. The average wage, for the few that did have a job was $100 a month. At the hotel we stayed at, the girl that worked at the front desk, slept at that desk every night we were there. If we needed anything we just tap on the desk to wake her up. If anythings driving up the price of air travel in the US it's the pure incompetence of the airline management, not the economy.

I think studios have started to catch on lately that most consumers have given up on the graphics card wars. Sinking $50 million into a game, and having 90% of that be due to the fact that the graphics are cutting edge is a stupid way to make a game. A very small percentage of gamers want their game to be so cutting edge... It's expensive to maintain a computer of that quality, usually the games buggy and constantly being patched, and in truth the graphics quality isn't all that much better than if they had let their tech lag behind a year or more. Unfortunately most studios also go cheap on content once they go cheap on graphics.

Nice that you took Toyotas talking points from their webinar. But it appears that all the professor did was short 3 wires together, all of which are in the same wiring harness. The evidence that Toyota has against this is that they claim to have found no damage or corrosion in the wiring harness in the cars they have inspect. Oh really? And we take their word for that? The professor stated quite clearly in front of congress that he was not claiming that this is exactly how the issues happened. What he was proving is that the car could malfunction, accelerate wildly while the driver was holding down the break and the computer would log none of this. I'm not saying these issues are not driver error... maybe they are. But to claim that the computer data is infallible is just silly.
