Maybe. I joked about the tearing-up comment of his but I can still get that way watching Sagan in Cosmos. Guess seeing a launch is something to erase from my bucket list.
Oh please, we had "dropboxes" on an Appletalk network around 1990.
On a
Mac SE/30 server each user had public folders and folders labelled "$USERS's
Dropbox". They were effectively write-only for all but the owner. The
'dropbox' term is something I adopted from an employer before that and I'm
sure we weren't the only places to use the term.
Coming from a pool owner: most of those chemicals are all actually legit in the maintenance of a pool. - Chlorine kills algae - Bromine is used mostly in hot tubs and spas I think, I've never used it in our pool but see it for sale at the pool/spa/hot tub supplier. - Cyanuric Acid is stabilizer for the chlorine. It helps prevent sunlight from neutralizing the chlorine. "Stabilized Chlorine" has the acid included in the granules or pucks. - Sodium Bisulphate is an acid used to bring down high pH levels. Commonly called "pH down" by the manufacturers. - Sodium Carbonate raised pH levels. Commonly called "pH up" by the manufactureres.
That all said, I don't recall reading about dangerous subluxations on the MSDS...
We have a regular IT Managers' teleconference which we call in to with the option to go video. Even with a nice Cisco (nee Tandberg) VC system and 60" display, I go over the phone.
That way I can eat my lunch, play on my phone, scratch myself, etc. Video calls make me way too self conscious about what I'm doing and concentration is lost.

It's an editorial of sorts.
As someone who has never seen a live launch, it was pretty interesting.
ps: crybaby fag!
I actually teared up, but I'm pretty sure nobody noticed me wiping my eyes with my shirt.
Yet you posted that here so we can make fun of you. This is why I love slashdot: the dedication of the editorial staff to trolling.
No, but the ones that do have a lot of developers making a lot of money...

This story isn't about RIM.
It's just one guy in his basement.

They aren't buried that deep, even the manpages in OSX have BSDisms everywhere.
Calling it MoMa is a smart idea. It means they can use the same letterhead for the times they have to communicate in Ebonics.
Yeah, JFK's speeches were cool but this isn't the place for them.
In the olden days (Apple ][), "$" was hex.
We have a 3G iPad with the $15 Rogers plan. It's worked very well and we've never come close to hitting the limit as we're usually on wifi.
I'm in Winnipeg, don't tell me about the cold!
I guess you got in your TARDIS and visited August 13 to post this, EH?
These are TSA people you're talking about.
If they were given radiation dose badges, the retards would get loaded on malt liquor and have races to see who's badge changes first in the scanners.
Allowing anonymous comments should help this journal achieve the "top tier" status the owners want. Look at what it's done for slashdot!
Portable devices have progressed far further in 3 years than desktop machines, though 1995 may have been a stretch... :)
News Flash: new operating systems can require more beefy hardware. Try installing Win7 on a machine "Designed for Windows 95" and see how it goes...

Generally fine. All the cues are there, on a video screen it's just weird.
Maybe I have a kiss of Aspergers...
