I think your father-in-law needs to take a closer look at the bill he recieves quarterly from the city of Buffalo for trash pickup. Buffalo does not provide it free of charge.
While you should have the MS03-010 patch installed, it is the wrong one for this worm. Make sure you use MS03-026. This is the patch that it links to in the removal tool link.
Even if it is a warning, I don't think that the EULA is the correct place to put a warning. Just like Kazaa should tell you it is installing bundled apps, this software should be more upfront with the fact that it will uninstall certain apps.
With all the garbage out there, I certainly would not be happy if adaware was removed from my computer...
In Buffalo, NY there is an organization called Computers for Children. Computers for Children welcomes your donation of 486 level or higher PC's, or Macintosh computers. SUNY Learning Network is not a very good example at all. I took a course on it last semester and was not impressed at all. Unfortunately I am stuck taking another one this semester. Anyway, SUNY Learning Network is basically just a discussion board controlled by the teacher of the course. This guy wants live streaming audio/video. I just wouldn't recommend this as a solution for a distance learning class at all. BTW, the OS they use is NT 4. We have one of the backup servers on campus here.
I've always wanted a huge multiscreen display from here!

Check out the Transportable Satellite Internet System. It looks like exactly what you are looking for.
They didn't just stop asking you.
See RadioShack Stops Being Nosy from a year ago.
I get junk faxes on my work fax machine all the time. Mostly crap about cheap spring break vacations...

MythTV works quite a bit better than this one does. Check it out here.
The article states that they are preventing customizations of the desktop/look and feel. You still have the command line and all the good stuff.
I think this is understandable. Apple just wants their interface to be the same across all OSX Desktops.
Nice! Stephen King, Desperation.

I don't think you read the patent either. Take a look at them. They are referenced here
Tell me where you see anything about making it SECURE...
The patents in question are:
Electronic document delivery system in which notification of said electronic document is sent to a recipient thereof
and
