    The government/culture of The People's Republic of China has only been in existence for about 70 years

    The Communitist Party of China established in 1921. The People's Republic of China established in 1949. So you should say 60 or 90. And China was at war with Japan 70 years ago.

    The problem is not linking a library binary object. Instead, it's the use of header files during development.

    I did not download the huge files... But from the website, it seems to be a SQL Server database (backup?)

    I don't know how "strip the MS-SQL header data off", and I think any manual operation will corrupt a database. Personally, I would think they are dropped tables (as they said chunk 40 repeated something from 1-39). Then I can't see any evidence of wrong doing. It is likely that they directory copy the database from development, or had set it up several times.

    Disclaimer: I don't live in USA.

    In the name of backward compatibility with old browser (noting that many people still using IE6), and the "investment" of web designers on Flash, it will not be replaced anytime soon.

    So even the browser provide the same functions as the plugins, you still need tons of plugins if you want to see all web pages.

    How is this outside server more trust-worthy than facebook, so that I would like to store my sensitive data on it instead?

    I always assume what I put on to the web are world-visible. The admins can always view it anyway. If it is sensitive data that you don't want to share with the world, don't upload it unless encrypted.

    I think it's simply wrong. I don't think anyone will think JBoss 2.x means JBoss Messaging 2.x, instead of JBoss App Server 2.x (even it is very very old)

    In conclusion, they are not much smarter than those people using browser they take over.
