Minor nit pick, they weren't not given the authority; they were told no that's congress's domain.

Actually building off of your point, I adapted my play style in Crysis to take into consideration the bad frame rate, extensive use of cloaking sniping and suppressors. That made the game enjoyable and very play then again God help me when I was spotted, I would usually die rather quickly.
I trust Corps more than I trust the Gov. I trust a Corp to act in its own self interest damn the rest, as for the Gov we live in a Republic motives change depending whose in charge.
I'm not opposed to a Corp being in charge of the white space but I am opposed to it being Google because of the conflict of interest.
Hmm looks like I ended my post early, I actually loved Crysis as well except for the plot which was stupid. Game play was decent enough, messing with the Koreans never gets old.
It just seems there are a lot of people who said the game was all about the looks.
Yeah, about that those 240Hz TV can't actually accept that on input, none of the HDMI specs go about 1080p at 60Hz, its just video processing software that generates frames, I'll pass.
Well they've only identified enough to equal 8%
I believe that movie was called Species
Die? This has already been smacked down, the eventual court case and what not are just formalities.

Most 120Hz monitors only do 60Hz and then use image processing to fill in the gaps.

How do you think Starcraft got its start in Korea?
Luggage and turnstiles don't mix, hell you could just have door that don't have handles on one side and have written on the glass do not enter.
Already cranked all the way down
This, my computer ran Crysis better than SL
E-Ink is still a helluva lot easier on the eyes than an LCD
Don't they have some really good sales especially on movies and what not?
I won't lie and say I've never Troll /. before but seriously?
Chrono Trigger
Mario RPG
I might play FF6 again but that would be my 8th time playing it, so I may need to find something else.
Basically SNES games
ScummVM is already on the iPhone, I have it installed but I haven't actually gotten around to using it though; so I can't say how well it works.

I'd like to see it again, when I saw it I saw it in 3d not IMAX 3d.
More the TVs than Blu-Ray itself HDMI 1.4 spec will be able to do 4096×2160p at 24Hz, you won't be able to do 3d with that though.
It wasn't actually the Gov though it was a private company using mercs for security, which instead of stroking we move into full on BJ territory

50ft sounds like a fake IMAX screen you got screwed
Actually if you want to compare to video games I would say that Crysis would be a better example.
inspired?
He followed the God damn formula down to the pen strokes, I just like how well the story resonates with humanity.
When has prior work ever stopped a patent from being issued?
