This is probably the biggest curse one can heap upon afghanistan. Poor nations with tons of natural resources, can never make good use of these resources. I can see an Afghan situation now that promises more warfare, more involvement from nations in the Indian subcontinent (none of which will produce a positive result) and a population that will be plunged into even greater poverty than the current situation.
Also, no one would probably want to be responsible for a mineral rich nation which has been the site of war for 30 years, whose ex-despotic leaders want power and will kill anyone in their way and whose population is now truly pissed with all the liberators and the oppressors fighting for control. I am not sure why Afghanistan deserves this.

Sometimes you do the sharing so that you live in a society of educated and cultured people. If there was no redistribution of wealth, the people who are the worst off in our society would have no chance of improving their situation and would have to resort to crime.

It is quite interesting how right in the middle of Bangladesh and Pakistan lies India with a larger Muslim population than these two states and the Muslims there have stood up against terrorism and are aware that if they don't screw around proclaiming their religion's superiority over other religions, they are accepted into almost all communities in urban India. It just goes to show how a society that values education behaves in a more mature fashion than societies that don't.

At age 14, the one concept you need to drum in is that for a career in science / engineering, you need a strong foundation in math and science concepts from high school. Far too often I see kids neglecting entire subjects from their coursework and parents actually letting them do this stuff.
You ignore the fact that telecommunications is not a perfect competition scenario. There is significant infrastructure needed to even get your service up and running, huge legal barriers and so on. The telecom market only has place for a few entities. This is what you call an oligopoly.
Capitalism is a game in which nobody should win. It is far too easy for a large corporation to buy and kill a better service by a smaller company just so they don't have to update their infrastructure. Government might be the ultimate monopoly, it still is an organization that citizens place in that position. Look at what zero government intervention has done to super resource rich African countries (total rape of the citizenry and working conditions bested by chicken coops in the us). Want an example of a competent government which regularly checks corporations' activities and still manages to foster one of the healthiest business environments, look no further than Singapore.
What you seem to be ranting about has more to do with incompetence in publicly elected officials. You have your citizens to blame for that. Fortunately a democratic process also gives you an opportunity to fix that.
