Well, you don't have to rely on it blindly. I have become quite adept at using it as fallback only when I really don't know where to go. I try to navigate "manually" as much as I can.

As such a GPS unit can be quite a valuable addition to your trips. Not that I want to force you to buy one or anything.

I have found it helpful to only rely on the GPS when I really have no idea where I am going. For mos trips I keep it off. That way I keep up my navigation skills to some degree.

It is also a good idea - though it can be hard to stick with it - to use the GPS as fallback only. You still let the GPS tell you where to go but simultaneously try to figure out which way you yourself would have chosen and keep watching the signs. This also helps if for some reason the GPS screws up (old map, road construction work etc.) or gives unclear directions (confusing intersections etc.) which I have experienced several times.

The other users have no right to tell me how to play the game that I bought with my money for my own purposes. That is why the developers set out certain rules so that everbody can agree on how to play the game. If the other players decide to disagree with the rules, it's their fault really. They have no right - although it's hard to stop them - to harass me for playing the game according to the intended rules. That's what I would have bought the game for after all.

Sure the games industry has a lot of technical expertise, but even they are only able to make a truly good game once in a while. And I have never been so frustrated with FOSS games as I ever have with commercial ones (bugs, quirky interfaces, quirky controls, etc.)

And if you compare the number of games released for windows with the number of games released for linux (including commercial ones) I am sure that the ratio of good games to bad games on linux is far better than on windows - at least it looks that way to me.

My father - who is a doctor - has confirmed this to be true. Apparently some infections (not only HIV, any infection) ARE treated with a vaccination, although it is not the only part of the treatment.

A much better implementation would thus be to allow any evidence collected under any circumstances. And to prevent the police from harassing innocent people, the police would be held accountable if they did/took something without getting you sentenced. Any evidence would be admissible, but if you don't get sentenced the police officer will be held accountable (fine, jail time, whatever).

This way criminal can be hunted down by any means necessary while still giving honest people some means to keep the police in check.

It is not a solution without its problems, but it seems more logical than it is now.
