  1. Lol on Is There a New Geek Anti-Intellectualism? · · Score: 4, Insightful

College is a waste of time for anyone looking to go into the IT field. Programming? Its iffy honestly. Most places would hire someone with 5 years XP over some college kid with 1 year. So my choices are I could either just work in IT.. spend maybe 100k over my entire life on certs and renewals and make the same as a college kid... or I could go to college, leave with 200k in debt, still need the 100k for certs and renewals, and start 4-7 years after my competition... so.. uh... ya. College? Waste of money sometimes.

You really have to hand it to Israel, they continue to be the very best at cloak and dagger style work. Yes, I consider this C&D due to its ingenious nature. Spread a massive virus across as many systems as you can, and nestle a chunk a code in it to only activate on the correct system. This not only requires the method to spread it, but far more impressive is the fact that it required the correct code for there machines. This means they do 100% have spys inside of Iran's nuclear systems and gives a butt load more credit to the statements made by Israel and America about Iran's nuclear goals. Well done

Guy at work had a Nook Color with android put on it, was eff'n sweet. No 3g, but it has wifi and he just connected it to his phone. I was suprised at how well it responded, i'm sure the Galaxy Tab is snappier, but this thing moved quite well. So all in all, I'd say maybe get a Nook Color to see what you like? Its 250$ and it is pretty nice. Would be real handy at home or on lunch from work or whatever where you just want to surf the net and play angry birds.

Then people need a day or two to set there personal stuff in place, THEN he can go submit himself for questioning.. which generally means a stay in Jail.

Stop posting these advertisements! Also please stop spreading the idea that gasoline engines and electric engines are somehow different in there pollution factors. THEY'RE NOT. They both utilize incredibly wasteful systems to produce power and both are horrifically inefficient. You think that the EV's are being powered by unicorn tears? No. It is coal. Shifting the problem to larger plants may seem to make it more efficient, but then you remember we have to build these EV cars and no one knows exactly how bad they are for the environment in the long run. I highly doubt refining thousands of 'rare earth minerals' and then dumping them back into the planet is a good idea.
