College is a waste of time for anyone looking to go into the IT field. Programming? Its iffy honestly. Most places would hire someone with 5 years XP over some college kid with 1 year. So my choices are I could either just work in IT.. spend maybe 100k over my entire life on certs and renewals and make the same as a college kid... or I could go to college, leave with 200k in debt, still need the 100k for certs and renewals, and start 4-7 years after my competition... so.. uh... ya. College? Waste of money sometimes.
I am so FUCKING sick and tired of morons like you quoting that. Guess what dumb ass... liberty does NOT equal driving down a road without someone knowing about it. Seriously are you that fucking dumb?
It doesn't work like that.... what are you going to do? Cover your entire boat in mirrors? No? Then I guess they'll just melt a hole through whatever the hell isn't covered in mirrors. Even if you do cover the ship in mirrors and they magically are strong enough to not break your boat the laser will still melt through it, albeit slightly slower.
I use to use headphones(over the ear and in the inner ear buds ones) and recently I picked up a set of 30$ speakers(2.0) and man it is SO nice to have real speakers again.
I know a lot of people use headphones for 'tactical' input in a game. Foot steps, doors opening, bombs, whatever.. but I just like having pandora playing in the background with the sound effects lowered.
You really have to hand it to Israel, they continue to be the very best at cloak and dagger style work. Yes, I consider this C&D due to its ingenious nature. Spread a massive virus across as many systems as you can, and nestle a chunk a code in it to only activate on the correct system. This not only requires the method to spread it, but far more impressive is the fact that it required the correct code for there machines. This means they do 100% have spys inside of Iran's nuclear systems and gives a butt load more credit to the statements made by Israel and America about Iran's nuclear goals. Well done
Oh? Well, then the wifi part of the smart phone could be automated and replaced. Just have it BT to the smartphone and stream the net over that maybe.
Would be a slick setup to have.
Guy at work had a Nook Color with android put on it, was eff'n sweet. No 3g, but it has wifi and he just connected it to his phone. I was suprised at how well it responded, i'm sure the Galaxy Tab is snappier, but this thing moved quite well. So all in all, I'd say maybe get a Nook Color to see what you like? Its 250$ and it is pretty nice. Would be real handy at home or on lunch from work or whatever where you just want to surf the net and play angry birds.
Why is slashdot providing us with opinions? News = facts and context. Gossip = Some facts, some context, lots of opinions. "because its search is damn well broken..." -- do not want to hear.
No it does not affect the Google voice client. That is all internet based... (except for obviously the end point). Its important to note this is only on certain builds. My G1 has never done this...
Because it is NOT his burden. He is NOT guilty as of right now, he has no requirement to submit to this crap until they released there warrant. Once they released it he took about a week or so to turn himself in. Thats a very standard delay period in international cases like this, it takes a few days for paper work to travel around for lawyers to review and make sure everything is in order. Then people need a day or two to set there personal stuff in place, THEN he can go submit himself for questioning.. which generally means a stay in Jail.
Stop posting these advertisements! Also please stop spreading the idea that gasoline engines and electric engines are somehow different in there pollution factors. THEY'RE NOT. They both utilize incredibly wasteful systems to produce power and both are horrifically inefficient. You think that the EV's are being powered by unicorn tears? No. It is coal. Shifting the problem to larger plants may seem to make it more efficient, but then you remember we have to build these EV cars and no one knows exactly how bad they are for the environment in the long run. I highly doubt refining thousands of 'rare earth minerals' and then dumping them back into the planet is a good idea.
Wow. He was using crowd control tactics? To do what exactly? Piss them off? Let me give you some advice.. when you yell? People try to ignore you. When you whisper? People try to listen.
Im on an asus a8js or something like that. With the dedicated video card.. the keyboard/screen died a long time ago(3 years after I bought it) but the rest is still screaming along.
He has TWO kids here? And he had those while NOT being a full american citizen? He had Anchor babies? Someone call FOX news please. We cannot have this filth just coming here and knocking out brats!
Wait what? He is a constructive member of society? Hes already contributed to the American culture before he was a citizen? The entire idea of making immigration more difficult is crazy bullshit? *mind explodes*
JUST MAYBE, we should look into this stuff.. I know, it happens off of the land so "civilians" are safe, but I am about 99% sure when big metal buildings *EXPLODE*, something is wrong. Once in a year? Extremely bad. Twice in a year? Something is broken.
Flamebait?! This is a VERY valid statement. If have sensitive documents and do a lot of work in India because you own a call center there or something, you would most certainty need to look at this.
Two things. 1. ITS *WILLIAM* of Ockham. Ockham was his home. 2. Thats not what William's idea was. His idea was that the solution that has NO leaps is always correct. Both of your options require leaps of faith. You have no direct proof of a situation so you assume a likely story. We don't know its used for anything at all beyond transmitting a signal. So trying to answer that with no real evidence is directly going against William of Ockham's theory. In short, you used the wrong idea to present your argument.

Hi! Its called ram. Its where you store data that you plan to access and manipulate a lot before you save it.

So basically teens who are more socially engaged are more likely to perform acts that require a second person? Shocking. Really shocking.

No. I wear my glasses on my face and the other two objects are not meant to be ON your persons 24/7 and in near constant use.

Actually I don't vote. Just so people that say stupid things like "You vote for them!" are horribly wrong. Jerk.
After all, god forbid you interview someone and call References. Then check those references.
Ya I agree. I was just feeling a bit of the daily show style of mis-contextualized jokes. :p
