I would have expected 3dfx's new line to leapfrog the geforce ddr, but i guess that's asking too much. A difference of ~10-15 fps isn't gonna sell me on it, at least not until it's been a couple months since hitting shelves, when hopefully prices will have fallen just a little bit.
As for advocacy, I try to avoid that since it's quite pointless. Unfortunately for my wallet my solution in the long term is to end up with both sides' cards.
I'm rather impressed with Mozilla's progress so far in xfree86 4, where I'm running the nightly builds.
However, I am quite disappointed with M15 under Win2K--if I click anything in the menu, it crashes. The only thing I can think of which might be causing the problem is my dual monitor setup.
I guess I'll take a shot at the nightly windows builds, but I had hoped the milestones wouldn't have this kind of bug.
I would like to see how mozilla has been progressing, but so far the win32 builds die under win2k as soon as I start it...
Application exception occurred:
App: mozilla.exe (pid=740)

Exception number: c0000005 (access violation)
Oh, joy.
