Great! I work on a mil project that deals with audit trails. Having a linux module to allow for auditing is exactly what we need and have been trying to get going. If it is anywere near as good as Solaris BSM auditing it will be a great thing, not just for yo, but for those that support Linux in a govt/military environment. This is a HUGE step forward since requirments require auditing records to be stored. Linux coming to an Afganistan site near you;)
My buddy and I worked at Spiegel as Unix admin, I quit, so they fired me right after I gave notice. He still worked there, a couple months later, I go in to the building with him cause he needed to pick something up....They fired him because I was a security risk! You would think there would be laws against lamness like that. BOYCOTT SPIEGEL.COM! lol

You can check out Best Buy or CompUSA for some faulty RAM. They seem to have a never ending supply of it. Not only that but you can pay the price that you can get it of of the net for good ram!
Why do you, Al Gore and George W, decide not to allow 3rd party canidates into the Presidential Debates? Such as Ralph Nader. A canidate has absolutely no chance at the election unless he recieves equal media attention. How do you feel you should rectify this?
Actually you are incorrect. The only thing above a Top Secret clearance is Presidential, and few people get that. Make sure you do your research:) Now projects from these agencies may be harder to access without the "Need to know", but there is nothing but presidential over top secret. You watch too much x-files.
Why should they? The only people with access to them are people with that clearance. That is the ONLY way to get into the building. Remember the people selling the secrets, are the people with the clearance. So encryption would do you no good. Its not like you can H4X0R these drives remotely.
Well as a former memeber of the Army Intelligence Corp I can tell you that this isn't as big of a deal as you think it is. Remember that most likely this whole building is secure. To even get in you will need either a Secret or most likely a Top Secret clearance. And once you are in, you would probably be able to access just about anything in the building with a badge. Its not like X-Files where every door is locked:) I am not defending them for losing it, cause they shouldn't have lost the stuff, but, I think it is being made a bigger deal than it is. The media is probably trying to make money off of this since the russians dont have it. They have to earn a buck too;) Plus, I mean, think about it, how many floppy diskes do you have laying around that you missplaced. I think the media is overplaying this situation WAY too much.
Now we just need to add cells from bill gates and watch them asexually spawm demons from hell and take over the earth! Then again, we can just continue the cloning of Natalie Portman.
This is crazy. This is probably another way to stop people from receiving their "refunds". You are paying for the software, so why aren't you getting the full thing? Because the majority of the people out there either do not care, or they are just too stupid too know. And most of the people using this never buy an OEM Computer anways! Therefor it will not affect us. This is why we need to educate the general public and media on things like this!
Hurry up and call the RIAA quick! They have lawyers!
It can't and wont change. Microsoft loses money if it doesn't Innovate everything!
Wont that be nice, I cannot wait to be able to use linux at at my military agency!

I find it funny that they dont blame their "god" when something goes wrong. Funny isn't it?

Remember, they wrote the site to post news that was interesting/funny to them, not you :)
How about the old Ultima games?
Somebody emailed me and actually thought that I was serious.

I really doubt that the drives would be encrypted. These HD's were probably out of someones PC. Do you encrypt all of your data?
Its like looking for those lost keys in your house :)

Are you sure this isn't "Cloud 9" That would make this the best! Would it not? I could use something to put me on cloud nine while using my 3133+ box.
I wish that I could have a multi million dollar lesson...
Speaking of pointless messages...Besides, it wasn't pointless, i was serious...
Why do i have wierd colors now?
The WTO could be next in line
I guess Microsoft is trying to do some serious kiss up, OR they are doing a total 180.
