It honestly sounds like manufacturers would commit by only allowing an M$ product. I have a strong feeling that there will be manufacturers that won't do this.

I am sure you've noticed, but the stock already has been dropping steadily ever since it went live and there was no cause for that. I think even if Zuckerbutt sneezes wrong the stock will tank. I agree though. They are trying to be like Google and they just don't have the physical presence to give them any ground at all. Not to mention they would need to fix the Andriod/iOS app before they even start tackling any (proprietary?, re-branded?) phone platform.

I think the first and foremost threat to IT is lack of GOOD IT Techs. The last 15yrs the IT industry has been going to shit and being filled by every test crammer that doesn't know a damn thing. They hired a guy at my place of employment that didn't even know how to cut, copy, paste. I guess I could also blame the hiring manager, but they we would have no IT manager. :/
Glad I got out of IT when I did and decided to move on to Network Engineering.

They're set up so that if you fail, you can try again. You can lookup walkthroughs on Youtube or IGN. If the player fails, no one knows but themselves (unless they're playing multiplayer). They have conventions that are well understand. They can be played on the player's schedule and terms. The price is explicitly established up front (unless there is DLC, which again, is on the player's terms). The NPCs that aren't explicit enemies generally respect the player. Video games aren't played due to an expectation for life to emulate them. They are chosen because this inexhaustive list of attributes is in explicit contrast to real life."
