Or, perhaps, the Forums that you visit are the regular places where people who use phrases like 'Putin's trolls in training' visit. In other words, the places you hang out are where people like you hang out, and you're a cynical long-time netizen.
When you make barely enough to keep a roof over your head and food on your table your ability to go out and have a good time is drastically reduced.
If you're describing nerds in Silicon Valley, you might have a point. But actually, in places like Kentucky when there is a power outage and the television goes out, birth rates skyrocket. Sex is one of the cheapest forms of entertainment.
I am a NetBSD fan, but OpenBSD is very similar and almost as portable. If it is capable of running NetBSD it exists. That's nearly the case, though I have some PalmPC devices that won't run NetBSD and Apple machines need to be new enough to sport a 68030 processor.
If Hillary had been elected, we might already be in a ground war with Russia over Syria. That was certainly the sentiment being seen supported in her fan-base (her business and foreign-policy backers). Of course, nothing she said on the campaign trail was really supposed to be taken seriously. She's a mainstream rubber-chicken-dinner retail politician.
Now, that's about as sensible a comment as your last paragraph.
Bend over and take it, with original prices from Apple and Samsung.
Fuck that. A big part of the problem is the obscene markups at the original vendors. People assume anything cheaper is just the same, because the 70% markup IS 65% profit.
You don't need a college degree to learn where the switch is to turn off the television.
Frankly, most of the people who I know who 'fast tracked' to get a degree and 'career' based on their degree are the most likely people to park on the sofa afterwards and do nothing with their life outside office hours.
Personally, I've chosen not to have kids and it's now far too late to even contemplate changing that. And I am certainly not banking on the current set of spoiled snot-nose brats I see out there to support me in old age.
I live my life with a feeling of wonderment that motivates me to never stop living, studying and learning. I know I am not alone in this, and that there will always thus be people who congregate together in centers of learning. There are also career-track sorts festering inside said centers to have to deal with, but for the most part life works out, and the body of knowledge continues to gradually increase.
Putin is barely capable of ruling Russia, and his armed forces struggle to dominate a small country like Ukraine right on their border. The Russian economy is in shambles, and nobody there pretends that expansionism will help.
Putin cannot invade the west, nor does he really want to do so.
NATO is a joke, a giant subsidy of Western Europe.
It's ludicrous how the 'Red Scare' tactics of the '50's have now become a popular sockpuppet for the left to wave around. What a reversal.
Perhaps athletic scholarships should be outcome-based. The jocks who don't succeed and don't end up with megabucks to pay a bunch of money back to the college they 'attended' (ahem) should become indentured for life to the grounds crew.
The feminist dance theory course exists because they gave Ruth tenure for political reasons that are actually in conflict with the practical pedagogy of actually teaching, and needed to find a classroom to park her in. She needs to pull her load in classroom-hours.
I think you're just saying that 'Physics, match chem' post-grads can be employed in the research part of the University creating value. So they are turned into chattel to keep the engine of science churning.
Liberal arts post-grads need to work as barristas to make ends meet, because who would allow a liberal arts student near a centrifuge, voltmeter, or other confusing and dangerous equipment?
The whole point in getting a degree is Credentialism. So a more prestigious University gives a shinier credential.
Quality education? Be careful. If they catch you acting like you actually want to know stuff they'll accuse you of being a nerd. If you take 5 years to get a four year degree because you take extra courses that don't match your 'degree track' your counselor will be upset about it because it will statistically count against the school.
Trump had many, many women after him before the election, and a very sympathetic press seeking out any women who could tell them anything nasty about Donald Trump.
Not a single woman made any mention of a 'golden showers' fetish. If Trump had such a fetish, there would have been at least ONE, if not many, women leaking that information to the press.
The fact that the 4Chan 'fanfiction writers' who came up with that story, and somehow got it included in the 'package' from the 'rogue intelligence agent' discredits the whole package that agent was shopping around. With fabricated shit like that in the package, the whole collection smells.
Nobody in the mainstream media would buy that bag-of-shit package, and it's for a reason.
Now, if the opposition wants to sink down to that level, it's their prerogative. Buzzfeed is alone at this point in pushing that narrative and it's done a LOT of damage to them. And/or it's made them a rallying point and/or a honeypot (choose which you consider it) to pull in the loony element of the anti-Trump opposition.
Join up with them if that's in your best interest, or the way you like to troll.
It's interesting that Buzzfeed stuff needs to be 'wrapped' these days to make it palatable.
Feed your Buzz, indeed. I remember being 20 years old and watching Twilight Zone episodes in the basement of the rooming house I lived in. Them were the daze.
A little education here... a Desktop unix system needs to have a Desktop to be a.... Desktop unix.
And X11 is not a window manager. X11 is a graphical subsystem on which you can run numerous Window Managers, like the Tab Window Manager (TWM) or FVWM or Motif's Window Manager or a lot of much newer alternatives. And even a Window Manager is not really a 'desktop environment.' Not that a 'desktop environment' is needed to run a Desktop Unix system. I prefer FVWM when I run a NetBSD desktop. My.fvwm2rc file is crotchety and old but it has worked for many years.
Linux isn't posix-certified. Or has Red Hat or some other vendor paid for that in the last decade that I've not been paying that much attention to Linux in?
Some things are hardwired into humanity, and one of those things is the protection of children.
Moral relativity withers away when children are involved.
Yes, I know it's not very postmodern, and childless 'libertard'* nerds living in mom's basement won't understand.
(*A libertard is very different from a libertarian.

Public in the sense that anybody who isn't a completely naive idiot is when it comes to Facebooks 'privacy setting.'
Did you just show up on the Internet yesterday??

You have a reading comprehension problem if that's all you saw in the above comment.
Giving you the benefit of the doubt, I think you're just being disingenuous, though.
I actually have 'ecodefense-a-field-guide-to-monkeywrenching.pdf' on the SD card of my phone.
You can buy some weak flux from an Engineering Supply Seller in Stormwind and make flux capacitors.
No need to avoid it. Just lube up and say hello to the Genius at the Apple store. They'll take good care of you.

If you insist on common integer units, I'd suggest you bake your pie to have a diameter of 113 and a radius of 355.
You won't be able to afford a measuring instrument precise enough to physically measure the pie and not have a perfectly round pastry.

There is no 'golden shower video.'

Che Guevara was a serial killer. A really creepy, scary individual.
There is a reason they drummed him out of Cuba after the revolution. They could only take things so far. Even Castro had limits.

No, it's a Mach kernel. That's a micro-kernel architecture. BSD is a monolithic kernel.
MacOS has a BSD userland, but that's not a lot different than the userland you get if you install Interix on Windows NT.
Trump can't interfere in the curriculum of the schools in the UK, where the Raspberry Pi Foundation does most of their work.
