Their stock is dropping because they're being sued for artificial stock inflation. That's actually two ways it's dropping. One by being sued, and secondly by the deflation.
Your mother never gave you a hammer? You turn the stuck piece on the side and hit it briefly. It loosens up quite a bit and you can pull it apart with you fingernails (if you have them).
I think what it's for is not to simulate Lego, but design for it and you can build it after you're done...I could be wrong and you have full rights to hit me if I am.
I used to make catapults in Lego and attack my brother's castles to try to knock his guys off the walls...those were the days...
eBay does not keep going while there are bids coming. It closes the auction after a certain time. No matter how much you bid, it'll still go out at the set time (little over a day at the time of this writing).
I think they are overly worried about their protection that they aren't working on making it better. If they advanced, the crackers, etc. would have a harder time catching up.
But most people who say it refer to it as a short cut to Slashdot. I thought that's what the question was...The poster said something to the effect of "What is that/. thing...(stuff here)...people are always saying it" or something like that. I'm too lazy to check.
I heard that Windows NT was getting Windows 2000, and the Windows 9X series was getting Windows Millennium...Don't quote me on it, though. I don't remember the source.
Maybe it doesn't make them something else, but a malicous "hacker" is called a "cracker" and therefore is no longer a "hacker"...yes, I know, many arguments about that, but try convincing a real hacker of that.

RDRAM - PC600, 16 bit
SDRAM - PC133, 64 bit
600 x 16 = 9600
133 x 64 = 8152
Now imagine DDR SDRAM, which is almost twice as fast since it reads and writes at the same time. RDRAM is just not worth it.
They compare energy usage.

Dude, Digital Theatre is about movies. You think he know less than a substantial amount?
My younger brother's birthday as well.
Same here!
Yeah, and I don't eat pizza and twinkies every day. Heck, I can't concentrate 16 hours a day.

Was that supposed to be Windows Googolplex Back Oriffice Server? =)
Think of the name of this page: Slash-Dot...Get it now?
Watch them come out with Doors 2001 or Shiny Sliding Glass Windows 2000 Hehe.
It's not there. Got nothing on the site.
If everyone pulls off their site, the internet may be less used, which means /. will load several times faster.

That must have been it, I guess.
