I can do this now with my DirecTV HDDVR with OnDemand. I can download movies etc to the hard drive. I can even start watching them before the download is finished. There is little to no HD content yet, but a good amount of standard def stuff. A lot is free, some is pay.

  2. Sears = good parking at the mall on Sears Installs Spyware · · Score: 1, Interesting

When I go to the mall I park by Sears because there are no cars there. There is easy access to the mall proper from the Sears entrance. That's about the only use I have for sears anymore. I have used the craftsman lifetime warranty, but only because my tools broke... not sure if that's a positive or negative.

I can cover every inch of my property the watts don't even cover my usage during the day, let alone the power i need during the night. So where are you going to put these panels? Cover the oceans, farmlands?

  4. Watts per meter of earth on Silicon Valley Startup Prints $1/watt Solar Panels · · Score: 0

Even if solar panels were completely free, they still would not meet our power needs. The sun only puts out X watts of power per square meter per hour, during the day. Even if you covered the whole earth with solar panels, it would not supply the power that is currently used. And of coarse, we can't cover the whole earth for several reasons. I have nothing against solar, but to imagine that it can provide all the power we need is unfortunately not possible.

Mythbusters busted this very scan on last night's episode. This magic machine that can tell you if your lying, if your racist, or if are violent. Mythbusters were able to defeat the machine as a lie detector while none of them were able to defeat the polygraph as a lie detector. I have my doubts about all the other things these scans are supposed to tell. I'm sure the scans are perfectly accurate, just the conclusions people are drawing are flawed.

This is not a court matter. Any situation where the government detains someone is a court matter. Detainment in avoidance of the legal system is, by definition, kidnapping - a federal crime. Not when they are captured on the battlefield (especially in a foreign country). The U.S constitution does not provide rights to all people who are not citizens and not on U.S. soil. Point to the section that does... Stop trying to equate war criminals to U.S. citizens. Stop trying to equate people detained with no charges brought against them with war criminals. Actual war criminals get trials. Point to the section of the Geneva convetiontion that says enemies out of uniform are covered under that rule... Try reading the constition some time instead of thinking you know what it says. I suggest you try reading the constitution some time instead of just thinking you know what it doesn't say. Point me to the sections you have invented.

He hints at the problem in the article, when he says that it's hard to keep the game consistent given your choices. HELLO!!! I don't want the game to be the same given my choices, it should change depending on my choices. Weather I am Mr. nice guy or Master Chief I still end up the hero of the universe.
