Yeah, I loved the TRS-80. It single-handedly made me want to be a programmer. Sadly I didn't own one so I would go to the Radio Shack store and code on it. They had a one hour time limit before they would kick you off and I used up that hour to the last second.
It's price is driven entirely by human emotion just like the stock market, so it can pop and collapse just the same. Watch what happens to it if people start losing faith in it. As its value grows, so does the interest it will garner from hackers. A couple of bad hacking stories can destroy the value pretty damn fast.
Very true. I know from personal experience that there's a big difference between putting atheist and agnostic on a dating profile. It pretty much guarantees you will die alone.
Bees have been evolving for over 100 million years and they've evolved from wasps which have been evolving for over 400 million years IIRC. Only humanity has the hubris to underestimate creatures that could survive for so long. I would expect they will still be here long after we're gone.
Don't feel too bad; biologists are notorious for underestimating the creatures on this planet. It wouldn't surprise me if we we're a good 100 years behind the knowledge we should have about them because of it.
It wasn't out of proportion at all. He did the one thing the engineers absolutely had to have but couldn't do: he got if funded. He believed in it and could see the vision of it. Without that, there simply would be no interenet. Money makes the world go 'round. So, I think it's fair to say he was absolutely instrumental in making it happen. It should also be noted that he has never attempted to garner any credit for the internet in a technical fashion.
Maybe that's true, in theory. But in my experience with both android and iOS is that iOS ALWAYS has more battery life that android. It's more noticeable the larger the device. My iPad outlasts my Nexus 7 by such a large margin that it's a joke. My Nexus 7 spends more time charging than it does being used (and that's not an exaggeration).
Apple just does battery life better. I've never seen a case where any android device beats it unless you get into outliers like the Motorola Maxx phones which have crazy huge batteries in them.
Which is why I was shocked that they killed Google Reader. That thing can be a gold mine of information that can be used to create targeted advertising. They can monitor very easily what things I'm interested by my subscriptions and the things I tag and share. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Apparently, Google felt otherwise. I don't feel like I can trust Google to support something given their current record. Reader is just one example but a pretty glaring one in my mind. So, while I'm a big fan of NoSQL solutions, I won't be using any of theirs.
This whole thing is a charade. Why is the question restricted to drones? The government has had a million ways to spy on citizens or kill them within US borders long before drones came along. It's not like drones make it more possible.
I will give Rand a +1 for actually trying to do a real filibuster instead of that new modern bullshit but he gets -5 for really just trying to make some political points with the tea party.
When did he say he would source those things in the US? He specifically mentions ordering shit from China. He's just going to assemble everything in the US.
But Apple doesn't give a shit about the stock market. It's why they have such a ridiculously low p/e in spite of how successful they are. It's the market's way of saying "You're a bad...Apple!!" It's one of the things I give kudos to Apple for...telling the fuckers on Wall Street to go fuck themselves.
Actually, ex-felons are not usually ever given a clearance above "Classified". So, calm down.
It should also be noted that a lot of felonies are pretty much bullshit anyway. Illegally copied a DVD...felon! Got caught with an ounce of weed...felon!
Every point in my post was wrong? Lets check, shall we?

I think I got it spot on. You're a whinny little bitch. I'm so sorry life is so difficult for you.
FYI...I use rounded corners ALL THE FUCKING TIME, ON EVERY FUCKING PAGE and I don't have this seemingly endless barrage of problems that you have. Maybe you just write shitty HTML and CSS.
No, sometimes different viewpoints are retarded, like the ones dripping with ideology. Ideology requires no thought. That's where the retardation comes in.
So much for not being able to swing any other way. Anything else you want to try?
They have to be that way otherwise Samsung will just rip them off that much faster.

lol...youtube almost always has buffering issues. It's why I use it as little as possible. It's been a problem since the service first existed.
It's been an automated market. And those same miners can also tank it's value just as easily as they raise it.
Based on what? Your personal impression of what they should be worth?

I don't run anything in the background of my android devices other than email fetching. So, that doesn't fly.
Fair question. I don't think so though because even before Android got enormous, they always seemed to lack battery.

How many open source libraries does the typical .NET web project use?
Source or it's bullshit.
rebuttal: the tax cut would have expired regardless of whether he signed that bill.
It's not bull-pocky when he tells you EXACTLY what he's doing in the video.

Translation: you're super pissed that the dollar is holding its value regardless of the US debt.
Want a tissue?
p.s. You have no idea how currency works.

So you refer to a single bug that's been fixed for a long time and was very easy to work around. I weep for your difficulties.
There's no doubt Webkit has bugs but FFS, you're referring to an edge case bug in a CSS 3 feature. A standard that's not even finished yet.
