  1. Ideology on What's the Solution To Intellectual Property? · · Score: 1

I'm an anarcho-capitalist, and a huge supporter of property rights, both physical and intellectual. At the same time, I find the current trend[s] [...] really disturbing. To paraphrase, your ideology was implemented as you would have it, but the results seem disturbing to you. Shouldn't you be rethinking your ideology now, rather than pledging your allegiance to it here on Slashdot?

Pidgin (formerly known as Gaim) uses your locale language for spell checking.

There is, however, a third-party plugin called switchspell that allows you to switch the spell checking language on a contact-by-contact basis.

Pidgin, for instance, is constantly annoying me with dialogs for stupid things like "can't reconnect to server". (Is it really so difficult to put an icon in the UI to communicate that and let me click to reconnect? Look to Live Messenger for an example of how this could work.) They did solve that problem, actually. They changed that some months ago. Try the newest version.

I think it should be permanently 'sprung forward' so we get more light in the evening.

I think you're confused about our time system. Hint: there is a reason that 12 at night is called midnight and 12 at noon is called midday.

If you want more daylight, wake-up ealier rather than messing with your (and our) clocks.

What does biofuel have to do with being ethical? Here's a hint: There are people in your country that can't afford all the food they need, or can't afford nutritious food like the kind that you suggest burning as fuel.
Some people find that, under these circumstances, biofuel from edible crops is unethical.

Repost (sorry for the bad HTML, that was my first post here):
Or simpler: state the obvious fact that if A is a small number, and B<=A, then B is also a small number.
And since you've shown that the set of small numbers has no upper bound, you've covered all real numbers.
