    Of course you will always have specific Linux version for slower hardware. After all I'm using Linux on my PI 200 router.

    And no, Ubuntu is not getting any faster. But if it can keep the speed it will be more responsive with newer PC.

    I'm talking about P2P. What people use on working computer is the employer concern not mine.

    P.S: At work I'm trying to implement an ALLOW system for exe files. So if you want to run an new exe file you need an explicit permission from the tech department. Sadly the management doesn't agree with me.

    It is always like this, older OS always perform better on older hardware.

    It's the same with Linux. If you want to use a PII (for example) you won't install a new distro.

    I'm an XP advocate, but the performance of Win7 is almost there. Considering all the new stuff Win7 brings, it's a fair trade.

    This so stupid it hurts my mind every time I read it.

    A friend of mine asked me how to make a copy of his new CD, so he could listen to it also in the car. I told him to not bother and use a torrent site. Since then he doesn't buy new CDs, he learned it's easier to copy them from the net.

    Gratz music industry for alienating your clients.
