A friend of mine asked me how to make a copy of his new CD, so he could listen to it also in the car. I told him to not bother and use a torrent site. Since then he doesn't buy new CDs, he learned it's easier to copy them from the net.
If you want to find beautiful girls go to Hungary, Czech, Slovakia and Slovenia. Sure you might find some beauty elsewhere, but here it's hard to spot an ugly one.
As for US & UK, you are wasting your time, most of them are unhealthy fat.

Of course you will always have specific Linux version for slower hardware. After all I'm using Linux on my PI 200 router.
And no, Ubuntu is not getting any faster. But if it can keep the speed it will be more responsive with newer PC.

WoW patches its clients via P2P. And it's a serious business for 10M people.
It is always like this, older OS always perform better on older hardware.
It's the same with Linux. If you want to use a PII (for example) you won't install a new distro.
I'm an XP advocate, but the performance of Win7 is almost there. Considering all the new stuff Win7 brings, it's a fair trade.
