Actually Chernobyl is not a great example of government run plant. For all practical purposes in this case Soviet Union run it's energy sector like a private industry. Most energy for the lowest cost, etc. And in my opinion parent proposes bigger government oversight on the running of nuclear industry.
Cause and effect - people who drop out are probably more inclined to not to know how to tie their shoes to begin with. Dropping out does not automatically make them more stupid.
Or it might be that Mac users, that need the support are assholes as opposed to Windows users from which support is needed by broader selection of users?
Well it's all nice and stuff, i mean living in a tent and all, but sometimes people have responsibilities before other people as well (maybe wife, some kids, sick parents, etc.) and quiting all jobs just isn't the answer.
And considering the parent is born in the first half of the 20th century should he really start over? Would he be happier doing something else and if yes would he get the opportunity to do that? Would you hire a almost 60 year old to an entry level position?
Ideals are good but world sometimes sucks.
Well because i am an Estonian i do take the same attitude to WWII. First being occupied by Russia then Germany and then again by Russians for 50 years. Both powers were horrible, Germans maybe a bit less because the didnt stay as long as Russians.
Well actually it all depended on how you use the mouse. I keep my hand steady, resting my wrist on the table, while handling the mouse and only move my hand from the wrist. So holding the "puck" mouse while lightly touching the wire, connecting it to the computer, it was rather easy to say which way was up. Not to say it it had other problems, like having too few buttons, but at least for me it wasn't so bad.
