There is one caveat: Symantec counts only those security flaws that have been confirmed by the vendor.
So, in Symantec logic, the way to build the most secure browser is not to have sound coding practices, but to simply refuse to confirm any flaws. Nothing to see here, just move along!
Are you trying to be dumb?
This inflated price is because of the small supply, remember that nice supply and demand curve you learned in Economics? Once Sony gets off their asses, and produces, we'll see people paying msrp again. The same thing could possibly happen if Nintendo doesn't produce enough units.
Intel does not own ANY stock in the company that they license the RDRAM tech from....many people think they do, but they DON't. Also, the company (RAMBUS) is just an IT company and doesn't actually make the ram, so don't blame them for the current high prices, it's just they're having trouble finding people who can meet the standards to make it.
doesn't matter for me though. i'm an athlon lover. and waiting for spitfire and whatnot...
Hello. I don't know why all you have such a liking for facts, and reality and such. I just wanted to get a posting on the main page, and I found the page amusing because it did indeed have potential to be misleading. I was hoping that a news outlet would pick it up, and talk about overclocking alchemy and so on. and then Intel would freak out and start suing people, and then Dr. Dre and Snoop Doggy Dogg would get involved...and somewhere along the line I would become a nerd martyr....ummm. yeah. so there.
mmmmmmmm.....so much caffiene. I think these would become huge on the college black market scene / bigger than even freakin' mp3's. imagine party, i mean study for days on end....sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
Hello Everybody: I just wanted to send this out as a general warning to all college kids in the state of Illinois. I'm fairly sure that the police of college towns all over Illinois are preparing for the biggest underage drinking bust of ALL time. They just want to take us by surprise, but I got word of their plan. Let's just say McGruff the Crime Dog remembers what it waslike to be a puppy, i mean a kid.
So all you kids, Watch yourselves : especially in the Champaign-Urbana area!!!
Wow that's pretty slick. Unlike all the other people who've posted so far, I'm not going to complain about not being able to use this bandwith, instead I'm going to reflect on the sheer amount of porn that one could download it. I mean with ethernet I, I mean someone, has the leg up on 90% of the us population, but with this EVERyBODY could get their porn. New age of democracy is what I'd call it. It gets my thumbs up. One other thing, I am AMAZED that the porn industry doesn't sponspor more internet technology, according to my statistics 90% of the bandwith is used for this purpose alone. If only we could get like porn only aisles through the internet.
If you've heard of , if not read Bill Joy's recent article in Wired, what do you think about his fear of a human-less future? Do you think that the future of AI is one that needs to be tightly regulated in order to protect ourselves from self-replicating robots? In the future do you anticipate something similar to the bans on nuclear testing with AI?
just thought out while his lawyers duke out what ever happens in the appeal courts, i don't think bill is going to give 2 fucks. i mean really, he was probably sitting at home going oh my god, you mean i'm only worth 15 billion dollars? what's the world come to? oh well, ie was better than netscape anyway. so bah. but i'm pretty sure lynx still rules.
woo hoo. i'm all about talking to people in real life. about all i use IRC for is to download "demos" for games. sorry, i don't know where those " " 's came from. but hurray for real life.
hmmm. what "game" are you playing? it's certainly not life because you know there's more important things in life that the eternal search for l33t. the kind of things you talk about, writing color graphics?, who has time for that. hmmm, do my term paper in college or write color graphics...hmm..later on in life, lets go to work or write a document app. are you starting to get the point...life doesn't rotate around a os. really. it doesn't rotate around l33t either. try and remember that.
i think the people who're rejoicing over what's happened a just a tiny bit premature. remember Microsoft is one of the world's largest corporations, and with that come a massive amount of lawyers. Lots of lawyers means, that whatever does happen could be appealed for years and years and years, well you get the point. Just wanted to point this out.
aww nuts. propaganda backgrounds were the purtiest backgrounds on the net. it's sad to see them disappear. but you know sometimes there's so much beauty in the world that i just have to go read/. or some thing like. damn this memory. oh well. linux wallpapers nothing too, they look just as nice on win2k background.
hmm. who cares if windows is unoriginal? i don't care if it's revolutionary, i choose win2k because it lets me do what i need to do with my comp: (game, write java, web pages, e-mail/newsgroups, etc.) with no effort at all. the interface is still easier in win2k. + in the month, that i've been running win2k it hasn't crashed once. And i put it through a lot of shit... so i'm very content. power without effort. nice. -dennis the kid
Wow. Ibm is pretty neat, prolly why i want to intern for them. 41000 linux copies is 39999 more than i can run, but if you gave me 2 pieces of string, a piece of gold, a flint, and two monkey assistants, i could change all that. huzzah to ibm for showing that it's not dead. -love -dennis the kid -laziness is zen
i don't know why people bitch out microsoft so much. oh my god, it's closed source, oh my god it crashes. big f' deal. win2k is awesome, and much more useful than linux, why work for it in linux when it's easy to do in win2k??? laziness is zen. hurray for me. i bow down to the awe and mystery that is microsoft. -dennis the kid
I don't know what's new about this... I know all my appliances already talk to me... my fridge has been my best friend since the sixth grade. but mr. toilet is evil, and i warn all you against upgrading your toilets, stay with old and shabby, it's better than new and evil... -dennis the appliance man
I don't know, I'm a big fan of me and really can't see a future where i Don't exist. so the hell with Bill Joy...hooray for me. and just in case machines do take over : Hurrah for our machine overlords! -dennis the kid
i'm a freshman in cs at uiuc which is 3'rd or 4'th best program in the nation. there are girls. but not many. and the ones there are, are quite atrocious, in more ways than one. but boys are better at this cs stuff, or that's the way it seems to me and every other male cs kid i know. thank god for the college liberal arts and sciences.

You have to have Zope installed, but I think it's great and super-simple to use and configure.
So, in Symantec logic, the way to build the most secure browser is not to have sound coding practices, but to simply refuse to confirm any flaws. Nothing to see here, just move along!
The other Thx level is THX Ultra ; or the "real" THX as referred to by audio/video snobs.
Not me though.
I'm a broke college kid content with his onkyo/psb stereo setup.
