Now I know the World's gone mad. What Doctor in his right mind is going to prescribe a killing/harming/maiming machine? Especially one that clearly has no therapeutic benefit to the patient. Surely the money that will be wasted in this way could be better spent actually treating sick and ill people? When Doctors qualify, they swear a Hyppocratic Oath to preserve life. If they are to prescribe offensive weapons, surely they'll need a hypocritic Oath as well.
I've found that, as is often the case, the source is the key. My 42" plasma is NOT HD enabled, so I am reliant on digital SD broadcasts (satellite and terrestrial) and DVD as my sources. DVD looks great as you'd expect, but the real difference is when viewing broadcast TV. It is SO obvious which progs have been shot in HD and which havn't.
The bottom line is , for most people, programs played on an SD set are more than acceptable providing the source was shot in HD, and this may explain the results of the poll in TFA. I'm sure this is true for CRTs as well as flat screens.
So the answer might simply be that all programs should be shot in HD, then the viewer experience will always be good, regardless of their equipment..
There is no limit on children...the parents are the key factor, and the term 'Nuclear Family' is used to distinguish this type from extended family systems used elsewhere around the world.
Take a look at wikipedia or Encyclo for more links.
Yes, of course I was joking! This was clearly a significant piece of kit in it's day. My point was simply that a 'replica' should look like the original article....a collection of panels, suspension parts and an engine don't make a replica car. What we were shown is perhaps more properly called a 'working demonstration model'.
I don't remember these calculators, but having RTFA and STFP
(seen the f*****g picture), I can't believe anyone could get away with selling something which apparently consists of a couple of techy-looking boxes joined together by wire!
I think it's quite reasonable for the French to want to protect this multi-trillion dollar industry. I mean, where would we be without all that great French music from companies like....er.....um.....Ooooh......oh, never mind.
This got me wondering so I looked it up. Apparently research has shown that it took a volunteer between 550 and 750 milliseconds to begin to understand a pictured object in tests. That's pretty quick, if not light-speed.

"Do you expect me to talk?" "No Mr Bond, I expect you to die!"
Pity the guy who did the dodgy soldering when he gets the repair bill !
Yes I know, that's why I'd like to know if it can be installed on a regular computer.
Sheesh! Even my toothbrush has 5 blades and aloe vera!
Safari/iPhone? Do you use an iPhone or do you somehow have this on your computer?
I've just spent a good half hour going through these posts, and nobody knows why HavenCo is absent. Save your time and move onto the next story...
And while your 'free' hand is busy, what the hell is the image going to be doing?
According to this BBC article it was 80%
What? You've got a girlfriend? And she doesn't live in Canada?
Exactly. You'd need something alive and well if you were going to use it to fill in the blanks.
I'd suggest Kangaroo DNA....make wooly jumpers!

'Nuclear Family' simply refers to the fact that the family has a nucleus ie the parents, I believe. Hope this helps.
Well obviously I meant other than Vivendi, Doh!
