    I get all kinds of stats from work and home, the Pebble has a full open API that allows me to do whatever I want. the Samsung crap is closed up tight with not even any promises of opening it up yet.

    here in the USA I can point you at several buildings that have been "for rent" for well over 30 years and have never EVER been occupied. They were built and then sat there.

    All over the USA there is crap like that.

    Actually almost 100% of homes in the USA have GNU/Linux systems. Their TV, Their Bluray Players all run Linux. Tons of consumer devices run linux in homes.

    The hell it dont. There are lots of Used Nissan Leaf and Chevy Volt's available. It's a car you can find these used on used car lots.

    Ford relied on them. They built the car bodies for most of the car industry well into the last century.
    All of the big coach builders worked hand in hand with Ford and the other car makers.

    Hell until the 80's most Oldsmobiles had the Fischer Coach emblem on the door sill.

    Fact: Detroit knows nothing at all about cars. They cant design them they cant build them. It's a dead town with a dying industry that does not realize that the dirt is being poured in the hole on top of them.

    They cant make anything decent anymore, and even the highest performance car made, the Corvette, is an utter joke to the rest of the world. It's built cheaply and does not impress.

    Why has this happened? Because the big 3 refuse to fire all of their management and start over with people that have real skills and engineering background and experience.

    You are wrong. You see you cant buy a disc with aperture on it, only via the app store... and if they remove it from the app store you cant reinstall it when your hard drive crashes. Therefore they CAN make it disappear. All they have to do is wait a short few years for that hard drive to fail.

    How do you get to charge your customers for the same program again? You kill the app and re-release it as a "new product". Apple is just now realizing that the app store model doesn't keep the customer paying for upgrades.

    I hate to break it to you, but Microsoft, Apple, Google, and Samsung all have been beaten to the punch.

    Pebble kicks all their arses hard. 5 days between a charge, unbeatable visibility in direct sunlight, waterproof, cheap, and works with all phone platforms that are relevant.

    Microsoft will be last bananana once again.
