HDTV's are garbage quality compared to what was out 10 years ago, yes UTTER garbage. They used to be repairable by swapping out separate boards, today they are throw-away items because they are made as cheap as possible. Electronics in general are utter crap quality compared to 10-20 years ago. THAT is why it's cheaper.
A lot of us firearm enthusiasts would love to buy used some of those military gun sights. I cant afford a $7800 laser sight, so they just destroy it to protect the manufacturer's high price point. If they fail any of these they get a warning by being locked in public stockades naked and the public encouraged to throw rotten fruit and veggies at them. Step 3 - Did they learn anything? If no, go back to step 2 until they do. Step 5 - if found corrupt or working against the people or the constitution, they forfeit all personal property and wealth immediately and are thrown in the stockades again but allow the people to now use rocks until their trial, after trial hard labor camp for 30 years.

that is actually a sand/salt mixture. the salt will work when the sun comes out as the sand being dark will heat up the surface letting the salt start melting. It's how they cleared the highways down to dry pavement here in michigan.
Well that is wierd... because the salt trucks here are simply dump trucks they use year round. they use them for construction on the warmer months. What wierdo city do you live in where they have special salt only trucks?

I have 6 feet of snow in my front yard right now, the roads have been CAKED in 6 inches of hard packed ice and snow for weeks and Salt doesn't work at 3 degrees F. and I can easily drive the 45 miles to work and back every day in a minivan that has crap all season tires, new ones but crappy cheap bottom of the barrel tires.
One thing I know about the south is that you guys are happy to drive around on worn out bald tires, I work regularly in the south Huntsville, NOLA, etc and you guys think that buying tires is a sin. Get real tires and you too can drive on ice and snow easily that is 4X of the worst you got this year.
It is the drivers and their lack of driving ability. I've been to Atlanta many times, they barely know how to stay in their own lane let alone understand what those speed limit signs mean. I am thinking in the south a speed limit sign means that is as slow as you can go, and you should try to drive at 100mph 5 inches from the guy in front of you. And that is why when it get's slippery they all crash.

The whole state is swirling the toilet and has been for over 2 decades due to the worthless leadership we have had in the past 3 governors and elected officials.
Lansing is a toilet, Everything south of lansing is worse (Flint included), and everything up I-75 to the bridge is also dead or dying. Saginaw is a cesspool as bad as Flint and Detroit.
The state is dying, our current moron governor cant even control his GOP state congress who are passing bills that are anti citizen and anti worker in every way. They "claim" to attract jobs, yet more and more companies flee the state every day.
