    as opposed to just having the receptionist have a cabinet with the stuff who can hand it out? yeah. We did this same thing at Comcast 10 years ago, except instead of vending machines we used the receptionist at each office as the vending machine... worked great.

    If they wont at least freeze the funds, then they are supporting North Korea and all they stand for. China would benefit from a war between Korea and the USA. they can sell to both sides.

    The largest source for Cabbage and lettuce for the USA is from Alaska and Canada. there are a LOT of food crops "way up north"

    Why would anyone intentionally stay in a area where water is scarce and you cant grow anything? Other than a sick and twisted repressive government? A small dirt patch that has been in the family for generations is not a valid answer.

    I suggest you take geography. the USA has a lot of "north" that is sparsely populated because most people are wussies and cant handle 18-22 feet of snow on the ground for the typical winter. I STILL have 4 feet in my front yard and it's been 45 and raining for 7 days.

    you can easily get around paywalls by using the google cache. If a site does not get google index the pay pages, nobody will ever come and visit looking for the content. By letting google index it, the google cache holds the content.

    No the problem is a lot of the subscription sites want a subscription price that is far higher than the content value.

    I subscribe to several sites. $5.00 a year for about $10.00 Value a year worth of information.

    Slashdot? way overpriced for it's value returned.

    The problem is most websites have people running them thinking they will get rich off of it. Your aim is to cover operation costs and then possibly a small profit IF you provide value.

    All you have to do is read all the papers from Prof Steve mann and Prof Thad Starner. The two guys that INVENTED the technology that Glass is based on. Both of them have been wearing the real first prototypes for well over 2 decades now. and they both already figured out the "killer apps" that need to be written.

    If you cant host it securely online, then mail several MicroSD cards to your destination first to avoid the harassment by the TSA.

    Note: you can easily get a Micro SD through airport security without them questioning you, I forgot about one in my pocket and they did not even see it with the Naked scanners.

    Dude I have a D5 MK III and a D800. and the D800 kicks the canons arse hard.... HARD.

    the 5D does not have a better sensor for low light. in fact it looks like a lot of processing is happening in camera as it's pretty soft compared to the nikon.

    So why have the not been upgrading sensors? Nikon is eating their lunch lately with Sony's latest also beating them. You have to hang your head low when Sony beats you.

    All of the camera lines have been stagnant in the sensors and MP for years. the Rebel should be 24MP, the 5D MK III should have been 30+MP and the 1DS should have been upgraded to ungodly nearly medium format resolutions by now.

    Nikon is doing that, Sony is catching up.... What the hell is wrong with canon? All I can see is they are busy adding flip out touchscreens and trying to convince people that its a "feature"

    When a senator or rep says something this stupid, they should be kicked out of office right away... Tar them, roll them in feathers, and force them to walk from the capitol for 10 blocks carrying a sign that says "IDIOT" with an arrow pointing down at them.

    Why in the world do we not only allow but freaking encourage the stupid people to be elected officials?
