    a 1" piece of black tape fixes that red indicator light problem. and good ones have a "blackout" IR flash that uses a non visible IR frequency unlike the cheap ones that actually use red led's.

    That is the cheapest you can get if there is at least 3G or EDGE in the area. Dirt cheap at $350 each + $9.00 a month for the cellphone plan. they will then email you the photos if you hack it and change the lens from a wide angle to a more telephoto lens, it would probably be easier to hide.

    Post "YOU ARE ON CAMERA" signs and put up several decoy Video cameras around where they are visible. add some solar motion lights as well.

    They will move on as they think you are watching them.

    nope, well it depends on what you call "affordable" $5500.00 is affordable to some people.

    But there is a self contained security camera called "silent witness" that lets you place them high up in a tree or on the roof of the cottage. just add a 12AH gel cell battery and a 20 watt solar panel and it will record to the internal SD card for over a month.

    Americans in general like the Security theater that makes them feel better. They gladly give up freedoms that they seem are worthless to them because they dont use them right now.

    The Supreme court is APPOINTED by the president and congress. they are not voted in. So in a heavily republican controlled period, you get republican agenda judges. in a Democratic controlled period, you get Democrat agenda judges. And you always get Self serving sitting on a pillar judges that tow the party line.

    It's been this way forever. The first sitting Supreme court decided according to their party and their desires and not what was according to the constitution.

    WE were taught they are expensive tools. and because you went outside the class outline you get sent to detention. Also you are told you "DESTROYED" an altair 8800 by making the LED's do a cylon scan. The rincipal and Superintendant does not care that pressing reset will make it return to normal, you DESTROYED IT.

    I.E. Teachers are morons, School administrators are bigger morons, and I still hold these beliefs close and dear today.

    you know why? because the executives of those companies were complete and utter morons. They would have had a brilliant UI and OS if they made them opena nd invited the OSS community to work with them. But no. Diamond wanted to be raging assholes with their RIO and refused to share with the community. they COULD have owned the market if they did so.

    We need more light rail for public transportation. Instead we rip up the train tracks and turn them into bike trails. Even small cities like the ultra tiny one I work in, only 550,000 people, can use light rail to connect the miniscule 100,000 people communities that are 30-50 miles away to it. wo raillines side by side to allow a loop of two trains would give you a MAJOR difference. But no, let's support the Auto industry by building roads that ned to be repaired every year.

    There is not enough raw materials in a solar system to make a dyson sphere. Even if you completely consumed every planet, asteroid, comet, etc... so in order to build a dyson sphere you will need the tech for interstellar travel AND be able to cart back whole planets.

    Still think it's plausable?

    Take that profile. the drivers is better off with an electric moped that will let them drive past all the stopped traffic and save about 10 minutes of their own time. If they are eco nuts, then they should be pedaling on a bike.

    But then, if cities were built and ran by sane people , the public transportation would work perfectly for this.
