    Why cant we simply build it modular? Base the Mars mission craft on the ISS. we can launch the modules over a 3 year time span, use it as a second space station for that time while we build it and then when we finally launch up the main engines, hook em up to the hitch and let it rip.

    I found 30 watt light output Halogens at my local hardware store. Go looking for lower wattage bulbs, most places dont carry a wide selection like they should.

    The light bulb ban is for the old incandescent. the halogens are NOT banned and work just as good and look just as good. It's all nutjobs that got foaming at the mouth over misinformation. If they had actually taken the time to go and educate themselves instead of listening to the sensationalist talking heads trying to tun something moot into a news story to milk they would have known this.

    Your only choise is not only LED or "curly que" CFL bulbs. And anyone that took 3 minutes to look it up would have known this.

    Step 1 STOP calling it obama care. It is Romney Care. Mitt Romney is the one who designed it. What Obama wanted was a single payer system like Canada has. The republicans wanted Romney's idea. Guess what we got.

    It's romney care, I wanted Obama care, but the rich here hate the poor so much we are not allowed to have a single payer system that was to be a copy of the Canadian system.

    Step 1 NEVER use any cloud systems for backups. all they have to do is supeona Apple to get your iphone data, or Google to get your android data.
    step 2 set the encryption. They cant read the contents if you have strong encryption.
    step 3 Live paranoid. If you are near a river and a cop is trying to steal your phone, Throw it hard into the river. They will never recover it. Be ready to destroy it, I mean really destroy it like wrapped in Det cord, thermite, drill press through the flash chip kind of destroy it.

    Otherwise, just give it up and smile you have nothing to hide do you citizen.....

    I have stopped supporting, recommending, or installing Ubuntu. Mark's "vision" is that of a useless future. Glad he is having fun with his pet project, but everyone that depends on Linux support from me has been told to move to Fedora to maintain a real computer interface instead of a dumbed down tablet interface.

    From the moment I saw the Do not Track idea come up, I was telling people that advertisers will not car and not honor it. the ONLY way you can set your own do not track is by using adblockers and other tools to strip out their crud. IF they wont honor your do not track, you no longer have to honor seeing their ad's. The only thing they can track by now is your IP address and the browser string if you install all the privacy plugins for firefox or Chrome. it strips their bugs, cookies, etc... and I am waiting for someone to start randomizing the browser string to further make their tracking harder.

    I did that and it is still locked from US GSM carriers. in fact many people online also have and posted articles about how the Verizon 4S works great in GSM outside the usa, but put in a USA carrier sim and it's "unsupported sim"

    SO they refuse to unlock the iPhone 4S, a partial unlock is still not an unlock. And it still makes them scumbags for keeping my personal property hostage.

    So do the same with linux, you can call red hat and pay them. or any other linux support company... there are tons to choose from. Linuxcare, redhat, Emperor, etc...

    Just like Microsoft and OSX. because they dont give you tech support for free. MSFT requires a credit card, Apple does too if you dont pay for applecare...

    Oh wait, we cant compare that way, it would be fair and balanced... we cant have that....

    You are 100% inaccurate.

    I make my own soda. mix it with tap water, tastes great. mix it with carbonated water, tastes the same but fizzy. if the pop has a different flavor between flat and fizzy, then your pop is complete crap.

    of your beer has a vacuum seal, buy better beer. All of my beers are under pressure, a LOT of pressure, from 12-18psi of pressure in them... the CO2 carbonation in it does that.

    If you have a vacuum seal you are drinking FLAT beer or something that is not beer.

    Slap a heatsink on the chip you do make a difference by drawing heat off the ram that is soaked up by the processor. it makes a difference. One of those adhesive tape cheapie ram heatsinks for the DIMM modules makes a difference, small one, but the difference is there.
