    I downloaded a SNES a Nintendo 64, a PS1, and a Sega Genesis.

    Honestly, some of the newer consoles emulators are coming along as well. I saw news of a Wii emulator being worked on.

    Kiosk environment... Why are you using a WM?

    Launch X with your App. Tada!

    Done it many times, if a user figures a way to crash the app, it relaunches X and the app. Never EVER use a WM if you are not going to use one.

    Ubuntu Server edition is pretty speedy, but nothing beats a slackware install in speed.

    if you think you can get in, you do it from a public open Wifi point. you drive a city away and go to a starbucks to do it.
    then you sanitize the screencaps. Sanitize them hard.
    Finally you release the info 100% anon. from a different public wifi point.

    If you are going to do this kind of stuff, you need to CYA, this kid did not CYA in any way. In fact from what I remember, he was looking for some notoriety from it. A very dumb thing to do.

    I have. myself in fact. I looked really hard at the Droid II. I really want a real keyboard.

    But it came down to the fact that android just does not have the apps I need. So I stay with Iphone.

    Battery life.

    Jobs wont allow the iPHone to become the battery pig that many Android phones are. Current 4G iphones are snappy as hell. Even my old 3Gs is very useable with the latest OS installed.

    Honestly, I dont WANT dual core if my battery life suffers at all. I like gong all day long without having to charge it, and that is running a GPS app in the background to update my Latitude location every 10 minutes.

    and that is a POSITIVE. I want P2P to be impossible for most of what I need on the NAT.

    Firewall+NAT = more control over the network. OR are you telling me that when ipv6 comes along all of a sudden all ISP's are going to become benevolent and give everyone what they want?

    NO you will get 1 IPV6 address and pay for every other address you want, Thus back to NAT.

    it is not a huge time and effort, it's negligible effort even for 1024 devices spanning several subnets in IPV4, in IPV6 it's a single subnet, even less effort.

    I fire up the VPN on my iPhone, and then print.

    Just like I do now and with far more security because the connection is encrypted.

    Note: I would never do that, Why the hell do I need to print something from my phone when I am miles from the printer?
