Never heard of it. Just had a look at it on quite a few sites. Indeed, what a horrifying, userhating mess. It's even hardly recognisable as a forum to start with.
Precisely, a completely justifiably cynical reaction.
Not sure who first started implying that "best intentions" are some magical, foolproof generator of "best results" in this shout thread, I'm too lazy too even look back through the abuse.
But it's laughable nonsense, normally only held to be true by children (and Sam Harris, especially in his failure to understand Chomsky, but I digress). Or is it depressing nonsense? Not sure.
Everybody on earth has the best intentions, whatever they do, literally everybody. Serial killers do, suicide bombers do, bank robbers do, the geniuses thinking up and the operators of Guantanamo Bay do. The list is endless.
The only thing that really counts is the actions and consequences brought forth by one's intentions, and how acceptable these are for the majority of people, over time.
That is pretty high, for an oxygen breathing machine. It could have touched hands with IIS almost at that height. I wonder how much oxygen is available there.
People actually buy those things? I always assumed they were like Zunes, or Microsoft Bob; too ridiculous to even consider. And now they are outselling Macs? I mean, that still makes it a marginal product, but at least it's more than the two or three total items sold one would have expected.
Funny how the headline is "Dutch Police Seize Encrypted Communication Network" while actually it is about a (1) guy arrested for money laundering and illegal weapons possession. It has absolutely shit to do with encryption. Another depressingly obvious attempt at blackening encryption in the minds of the people, the obvious goal of course being more control by corporations / the government over the people.
What's with companies inventing their own, superfluous, languages? Simple: It's about control. By not using one of many available, non-company controlled free languages, you increase your stranglehold of "your" ecosystem, giving more options to abuse^Ddemonetise your customers. So why would Google even consider using one such monster, when while being touted as having been open-sourced, its obviously under control of its competitor?
Jerks are the people who are too lazy to study at school, and later on in life, too lazy and disinterested to even care about proper writing. And that attitude typically is not limited to proper writing; it is all too often indicative for attitude in general. Attitude towards other people, towards your nation, towards your earth. People pointing out spelling mistakes are mostly the good people; the people that actually care about this world.
What is wrong with people still writing stuff, even starting to write new stuff in Java? Java sucks majestically; literally everything written in it is ugly, slow and a memory hog. It has done so since its inception. Amendments were made, but the core of the problems has never been solved.
You'd have to use Chrome first, and then some "app" thing apparently available within it. Who even does that, two big failures in a row? I think a realistic guess is they are doing it because nobody is even using it.
This out of control US organisation "FCC" should really refrain from meddling what owners "are allowed" to do with their devices. Their silly interference [sic] in this field is only supporting artificial business models by router and phone makers, and preventing solid security to be implemented.
What the hell is "gigawatt/hours"? GJ/s^2, energy per times squared, hmmm, a sort of acceleration of energy through time. What, did Saddam Hussein invent a magical energy source and was he perhaps killed for that? Questions, questions.
Oh yes! The world will be a better place when governments are aided by secure communications developers in fighting crimes like apostasy, being gay, etc., and whatever new "crimes" might be defined out of thin air in the future.
I'm sure the criminals that will be brought to justice, and hanged, shot and stoned will understand the wisdom of this move.

Dunno. I'll help us out, here:

There's ads on Facebook? Where?
Cortana
search box
Bing
Edge
What in heaven's name are all those? I use Windows 10, but have never encountered one of those.
"... Downloading Pirated Scientifc [sic] Papers"??
You mean:
"Freeing scientific papers that were being held hostage"

I don't think Java ever needed that type of assistance.

"liji"???
Yup. How awesome.

Or at least publicly shamed :).
I think it's a fairly low number.
What incredible crap java is, barf.
What is wrong with people still writing stuff, even starting to write new stuff in Java?
Java sucks majestically; literally everything written in it is ugly, slow and a memory hog.
It has done so since its inception. Amendments were made, but the core of the problems has never been solved.
Hangouts? Wasn't that that ill-conceived "Google Facebook"?
Does it still exist?
Haha, Cortana. You said Cortana! :)

"A traffic incident has been reported here by fellow Wazers"
Must not have sound too threatening.
Maybe they should start telling people first what "Google Photos" is, before they shut down the thing people actually know.
Iz realy noboddy proofeadng submisions on thiz saite?

In other words, what a simpleton.
