The problem I have with origin evolution is really the genetic advantages that a multiple-cell organism has over a single-cell organism. Are we talking about climate change? over-crowding? random mutations? I will admit I am not smart enough to see how a single-cell organism can ever become a fish.
This what always gets on my nerves about the "evolution" debate. I don't know that all life on this planet is descended from some micro organisms, for that I believe in divine creation. Neither side can prove they are right on this debate.
But I know that animals, plants and people will make minor changes that will result in a "new" species. I see German Shepherds that are obviously related to Coyotes. There should be no debate on teaching evolution, there should be a debate on teaching the "origin evolution".
O'Reilly used to offer ebooks for any edition that you "owned" (and by owned, they want you to type in an ISBN number), they would sell you the ebook for $5. Haven't needed any books in awhile and haven't looked at their site lately.
I never played sports, but genetically I was lucky, I was always taller and stronger than the bullies, so I didn't have to fight. I still got made fun of, had a bunch of nerdy friends who also got bullied, but because they hung out with me, they were protected.
Also, I would pick the biggest, dumbest kid I could find, and help him out with tests and homework. After that nobody messed with us. It's nice to have a bodyguard. Although, some of the gang members scared me when they offered to kill somebody for me when he bumped me in the hall.

I know I'm not the great Mr. Nelson who made apple products what they are today. Which isnpof course what he's really saying here. I don't want MS copying what I helped apple do, so I'm going to say its crap and hope people listen to me and do all their work on an IPad so my stock will go higher.

Yeah, it's ridiculous to arrest the man because he had a watch in his boots. But why in the hell did he have a watch in his boots? That doesn't make any sense to me. Was he coming from out of the country? Was he coming into the country? Did he forget what pockets were for? Things don't seem to add up to me.
It is possible that he was testing security at the airport so that he could sneak a bomb in later. Nobody would take the time to change their boots unless they had more than one use for them.

What about all the cops not caught on video abusing their authority, not lying about the facts, not comittig crimes, etc.?
It's kinda like the IT business, for every time some guy steals all the passwords to San Francisco, there are a hundred thousand of us, that do absolutely nothing wrong.
Of course there are bad cops, there are also bad pizza delivery drivers, bad waiters, bad soldiers, and so on and so forth.
It's not like they are politicians or lawyers, where everyone is bad.
That's why America will surely fall to some Asian country, where only the best and brightest succeed, while the dumb fucks make iPhones for the stupid Americans.
If you're going to do you're family tree, then you can't really say I have Mexican or Canadian relatives. They are both just transplants from Western Europe. But that's just my opinion.
I've been using Windows 8 for a few days now, and it's pretty much Windows 7 with a tablet like interface and a desktop interface. I actually like it. I can have icons for programs I use in the metro ui, or I can just click on the destop button, and have a desktop. Would you care to explain what is awful about W8? Just curious what you are seeing, that I'm not? I'm running W8 on a lenovo Ideapad, it's quite zippy, but I expect that from an i5 and 6 gigs for ram? No I didn't purchase it, it was bought for me by my company. It's a pretty decent OS, and it's a lot better than unity on ubuntu.
