  4. Biggest problem I see... on Ask Slashdot: Unity/Gnome 3/Win8/iOS — Do We Really Hate All New GUIs? · · Score: 2

... Is that these changes were imposed onto the community over a very short time-scale.
In the case of Unity, it first was introduced in 11.04 as the default (with gnome fall-back was an option) and as standard in 11.10 (Gnome fall-back removed). Their was a vocal group that had problems with Unity and felt it was not ready for prime-time and Conical was only rushing Unity out the door (so to speak) to keep up with Gnome 3 "Gnome-shell". Which has just as many haters as Unity!

I think if they slowed down the introduction by having it as an option instead of a default in 11.04 and then having it as default in 11.10 it would probably have let the community drift towards Unity once all the bugs were ironed out! then in 12.04 have it as the standard option with more public support!

Unity is bearable on my 15 inch laptop (but gets tiring after a while!) but I put up with it. My desktop is on Ubuntu10.10 and is probably last version of Ubuntu it will see!! Looking at Mint or another Flavour that keeps a Gnome 2 style interface.

    "
According to the Judge, the MPA and BT were in conflict over the extent of this flexibility.

The MPA preferred the block to encompass “any other IP address or URL whose sole or predominant purpose is to enable or facilitate access to the Newzbin [2] website,” but BT wanted “and any other website whose sole purpose is to provide access to the Newzbin [2] website.”

The Judge agreed with the MPA and noted that the studios should not have to “return to court for an order in respect of every single IP address or URL that the operators of Newzbin2 may use.”

You're thinking of the "Shrink Wrap" problem.
    e.g.

The first line of the ToS/EULA "Buy opening the box you have agreed to the ToS/EULA"
As you didn't get a chance to read the ToS/EULA before agreeing so it's invalid due to the fact the consent was not "informed".
(not having access to the ToS/EULA is not the same as ignoring the ToS/EULA)
That's why most software now has a summery of the ToS/EULA on the outside of the box.

RIAA Label Used In Massive Cocaine Trafficking Ring

    http://torrentfreak.com/riaa-label-used-in-massive-cocaine-trafficking-ring-110916/

Earlier this year record label boss Jimmy Rosemond was arrested on the suspicion of leading a massive cocaine trafficking ring.

The founder of Czar Entertainment used shipments of music equipment to transfer cocaine across the United States.

These shipments went to several music studios, and according to a recent court filing uncovered by The Smoking Gun, Interscope Records is one of them.

This suggests that people at the RIAA label were in on the game.

Previously entertainment industry representatives have suggested that piracy can be linked to organized crime, and the above suggests that the same can be said for the music industry.

How many people in the music industry were part of the drug ring remains unknown at this point, but we would advise the RIAA to carefully investigate its members to avoid the practices from escalating.

Oxygen can be stored on board tanks in liquid from. Hydrogen used to propel the ISS into Lunar orbit in around 24-36 months

Buy that time their should be at least one nation state attempting a new manned Lunar exploration. They can use the ISS as a way-point to refuel Liquid oxygen/hydrogen or as an emergency rescue pod.
