I don't think he's listening to music in his car because he thinks the acoustics are awesome, probably more because you know he's in the car and there's nothing else to do...
I'm pretty sure the acoustics in his studio are something he's paid very close attention to. As an engineer it can be difficult to listen to music in the same way others do. When you work on music all day your ears get tired and a lot of the time you enjoy silence or the sounds of the natural world.
You can only push vinyl so far before the cutting head jumps out of the groove and destroys the master, this is particularly true of bass frequencies, so while you could in theory compress the whole track as you would a CD your peaks would be substantially less than they could possibly be, because of this it would sound slightly flatter than other records that used the full dynamic range of the disc.
It was arbitrarily selected based on the sample rate used in a very early digital format recorded onto Sony U-matic tapes. The sample rate for that was based on the maximum fidelity of the tape and related to the 15kHz video frequency.
Larry Gopnik: Uh, yes. You failed the mid-term. That's accurate.
Clive Park: Yes, but this is not just. I was unaware to be examined on the mathematics.
Larry Gopnik: Well, you can't do physics without mathematics, really, can you?
Clive Park: If I receive failing grade I lose my scholarship, and feel shame. I understand the physics. I understand the dead cat.
Larry Gopnik: You understand the dead cat? But... you... you can't really understand the physics without understanding the math. The math tells how it really works. That's the real thing; the stories I give you in class are just illustrative; they're like, fables, say, to help give you a picture. An imperfect model. I mean - even I don't understand the dead cat. The math is how it really works.
Clive Park: Very difficult... very difficult...
Larry Gopnik: Well, I... I'm sorry, but I... what do you propose?
Clive Park: Passing grade.
As far as I'm aware super tetris 3 is truly random, the best kind of random! I am a big fan of TGM3, despite it's slightly cheating re-roll randomiser, but for some reason it there's a bug in Mame that causes me grief when I try to play it in 2 player mode that causes the blocks to fall straight down for one of the players.
I find that this is normal language when coming away from a long session of "super tetris 3" vs mode for the super nintendo. You'd feel the same if you got 20 Z tetrominoes in a row.
I just finished Skyward Sword and what stood out for me was the fact that it actually felt finished, no shocking bugs or horrible glitches. Then moved on to MW3 and found that my squad would get stuck in a lift leaving me grenading them in the hope that they would move...

True, but a good bass amp can and will sort that out too...
I hear at one point the earth was a ball of molten rock and humans weren't even around then so everything will be fine.
It's more convincing than what I hear from skeptics!

* If you can build a perfect filter. Good luck with that.
Proper degrees are in Celsius...

Anyone using Symantec pcanywhere in mission critical servers should be instantly shot.
It was very nice of her to gestate your clones for you. Mine insists on some sort of messy hybridisation process that I find disturbing.
You work for Foxconn too?
See switch. Hit switch.

As a Scotsman I resent this shameful waste of black pudding http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_pudding
Would you be laughing so hard if you were a Philipino seamstress?
Russian Orthodoxy says the same about Rasputin.
Sail really close so the staff who remember it fondly can get a really good view. Did you just hear something?
Sopcast?

2 candles work way better than a wii sensor bar I have found.
I use 10.04 and 10.10 and have had the same problem as GP.
Believe it or not, DIY, gardening and study exists in the rest of the world as well.
I believe the technical term is "shit eating grin".
