This is something that has been discussed here (UK) due to the fact that the public shouldn't get to know the details of how much the government knows about other terrorists or the extent of their investigations.
All very disturbing.
There's something highly ironic about the fact that BeOS was designed "without any ties to backward compatibility" yet here they have striven to ensure binary compatibility with programs people haven't used ~10 years...
I agree this feature is great and dragged me into trying OSOL and Nexenta. I just couldn't face starting again with a new OS just for this, I'd much rather see ZFS implemented in Linux ASAP.
For the record, Audacity, is pretty hopeless as a pro tools replacment. Ardour http://www.ardour.org/ is great, but as ususal finding drivers for the hardware is a black art...
I'm not by any stretch of the imagination a pro-lifer, but even I find that idea rather distasteful... Take an egg and fertilise it then destroy it just to satisfy someone else's curiosity?
More tho the point if she does exhibit some inter-sex condition that gives her an unfair advantage should men who have similar unusual karotypes be banned as well, eg XYY? I'm sure some studies have shown increased strength and aggression in these cases.
I guess we can all relax now knowing that we are only seeing the signs of shuttle damage to the extreme edge of the atmosphere.
I have been concerned for a while now about the possibility of disturbing what must for the most part be a very stable part of the atmosphere. Does anyone know how many pollutants ie N/SOx these launches distribute or if the chemistry of that region is likely to be affected?
That's all very well for those who use it occasionally, but recently when driving with my boss I realised that due to his over-reliance on sat-nav he was driving 10 miles out of his way to get home on a regular basis (on a journey of approx 50 miles).
He didn't even realise there was a shorter route.
At least on a map an alternate route is generally visible as you have a larger field of view.
Personally I'm at the "I'll never have one" stage with sat-nav at the moment.
Do you even know what Torvald's job is? He certainly doesn't do much UI design!

Utter bollocks, as proven in a court of law several times. They are still insisting that computer monitors count as well, without a TV card.

Let me start by paying nothing for this one, I'll gladly give Murdoch even less.
The health care reform bill run through deCSS?
Oh please let me be the one to hack the lawyers into giving up the code...
I may have to brute force it, but I'm sure I'll get it eventually.

Did you even RTFA? He was using a G4 powerbook in 2009!

Microsoft announced that the MSCE exam course can now be completed in less than half an hour!
