    So he was the lesser of two evils, that is every democratic election. No one with any common sense or integrity would ever run for office in any country.

    So what, they will have another democratic election and magically there will be better choices this time around, and the people will make a better choice, or the military will just rebel again.

    I have onyl encountered weekly myself.

    And really with everything electronic and automated it should be daily, or they should be giving you interesting on your money that they are holding.

    What you describe is not a PR or presentation problem. You are describing someone(s) seeing how unions operate and not liking it, because it is in fact wrong and bad.

    And in my mind you are focusing on the really not that bad stuff.
    Yes, there are loads of unions who promote lazy members and I do not think anyone likes the idea of seniority.
    But the real problem, just like for companies, is when they get complete monopolies. When you cannot work in an industry without joining one and paying your union taxes. When you cannot decide to work for a company because a union has decided to strike and they will make sure you are fired and can never work again.

    When a union not only makes work in general worse, but also takes rights and options ways from the average working Joe, just because they can. That is when they become intolerable.

    But it is not inconsiderate to text silently and with minimal light. Either automatically or using settings any decent phone can do this.

    Texting should be OK. You do not need any noise to text. And in a pitch black room the screen brightness should always be minimal. yes a cell needs to pump out a lot of lumens to be readable in the noon day son, but there is no excuse for a cell with a camera attachment to be a noticeable detraction in a movie theater.

    They very well might be using existing hacked wi-fi hardware.

    But if I used wi-fi hardware to fry an egg, that does not mean that I fried an egg with wi-fi.

    I am sure they are using the same frequencies as wi-fi. But wi-fi is not just the use of a certain frequency range.

    It is an IT conference, it is not supposed to be professional. Professional is for offices and meetings, this is just a cluster-fuck advertising event.
    Who is going to talk business in front of all of your competitors and 10 thousand other people, on the spur of the moment, in a room louder than a circus, when the person you are trying to talk to needs to look after 100 other interested onlookers?

    What? I am sure it takes longer or about the same time to use this.
    I am a landlord, and it is extremely fast, easy, and relatively cheap to copy a key.

    I would love if they kept copies of my keys in their database.

  21. Even if we ignore that fact that is it simply never safe to cross US boarders.
    And ignore weither or not it is legal to own and transport ripped media (it might no longer be legally ripped in the US).

    You are will stuck with the fact that it is not safe to carry any digital data across the US boarder.

    As much as possible you might just want to transfer the data electronically.

    Had a few people from anointer country, with insurance, come stay with us last year.
    They had to pay to go to the emergency room, upfront, in cash.
