when I said free to make and distribute I meant a single copy is free to make and distribute (basically free, as a few cpu cycles and a few megs of bandwidth is under a cent).

Now of course there are fixed costs, but I would not be surprised if nice glossy paper + tons of ink + storage and handling + shipping = a huge percentage of the previously printed mags cost.

So no your "[topic]" is ridiculous and really only applies to religions, cults, and maybe a few other things that depend on some sort of brainwashing or evoke a huge emotional attraction with the person in question.

Well unless I am mistaken the current pope used to be the guy in charge of the coverups? Ergo the leadership of this organization knew about the cover ups and were somewhat involved with them.

And the pope did not just descend from heaven one day and get appointed pope, he would of worked his way up (at least I have never heard about the position being a hereditary one).
He would of held most of the positions of a priest and most likely worked in many churches in a variety of locations.

But the whole Catholic church cover up issue is not even so much that some priests are pedos. it is that the entire church is involved in shifting them around, covering up for them, and when needed flying them to Vatican city and putting them in a specially designated building for pedo priests fleeing the law.

Supposedly Bethesda have a financial reason for suing Notch and for a actual business to engage in basically a game of chance (Quake 3 is not a game of chance but pitting two unknown team against each other in it is) to determine if they will go ahead with the suit or drop it is just irresponsible. And assuming that they are a corporation beholden to look after the best interests of their shareholders most likely an illegal act to boot.

now i hate Bethesda as much as anybody for pulling such a stupid move and I would not dislike Notch solving a disagreement with a match of Quake 3 (and would think him even more cool for doing so), but if he actually thinks that there is a possibility that they will accept or of this is just a publicity stunt (the only two possibilities, well then I think he is being kind of stupid.
